That said, I pretty much hate waking up to an alarm. I have an alarm on my iPhone that fades in, and before it does, it plays an ambient playlist through the night. I also have an app on the phone that allows me to play a mix of 4 different sounds (I choose heavy rain, frogs croaking, crickets, and thunder) and set them at different volumes and pitches. That in conjunction with a noise machine that produces EVEN MORE rain, and I'm set for a really peaceful evening. Who would want to wake up with all that going on? Right. 

This mix eases the pain and tension of having to get up in the morning and go through the daily grind. It is also well balanced for a restful night, so feel free to use it as prescribed by your intuition.
