  • Blood on the Dance Floor
Blood is both a substance and a metaphor in a new dance theatre work by Jacob Boehme - the partly autobiographical Blood on the Dance Floor. It ranges over ground that’s deeply personal. It's also an ode to the generation who died at the height of the AIDS pandemic.

  • Under Skin, In Blood
The deadly asbestos mine in the northern New South Wales community of Baryulgil is the backdrop for a new short film by Larissa Behrendt, who's better known as a Harvard-educated law professor and lately, public commentator in The Guardian. • Uncommon bravery: the story of Neighbour
To save the life of your captor while your body is in chains is a lesson in bravery and compassion. Neighbour, a tribal man from the Roper River region in the Northern Territory, received the Albert Medal for Lifesaving after he rescued the mounted police constable who was escorting him to incarceration across a flooded river in the wet season in 1911.
