In today's episode, our guest is Jeff Spencer, doctor, mindset guru, chiropractor, artist, and author. He is a former Olympian, and over the last forty years, he has worked alongside some of our generation’s greatest achievers. Throughout Dr. Jeff’s life and career, he had a diverse set of experiences and accomplishments.
[7:52] Why should we listen to you?
I would say that you certainly don't want to step into the preventable problems that most people do a lot of the things that people think to be true and it's not true at all. If you want to play a big game, you want to do it the hard way, then just do what you do. And once you've had enough of it, come to me and I'll tell you exactly how the prolific achievers through it.
[8:40] Jeff’s Background
I was an Olympian, and if you can't manage your health, then don't plan on having a very good life either. A catastrophic relationship failure or a health event prematurely can wipe you off the face of the earth. The experience and spent time in the lives of some of the most prolific achievers of our era. There is nothing like going to be tricked by, or we're going to learn it correctly.
[11:04] Secret to Success
I want to share about the champion’s golden rule. First, you prepare, then you perform. There are no shortcuts. You can compress time. If you have certainty about having the right model and clarity, you have got the right goal for yourself.
[12:02]
If you don't know your assets and your current reach, which determines your state of readiness, how long it's going to take, then your risk exponentially grows. There's nothing more tragic than someone who deserves to win but falls unnecessarily.
[14:54] Determining your Goal.
Always remember the plan is a plan. Once the plan meets reality, then it has to be adjusted. We need to maintain a peripheral awareness of what's going on around us because blindsides can wipe us off the face of the earth. We should expose and challenge every one of our goals rather than just thinking about what the rewards will be. If you can't convince me that it's relevant enough, it's probably not a goal worth pursuing.
[17:37]
There is a certain way that we look at life that we can't conceive of in advance to evaluate and make our decisions against. In many of the goals that we make, we spent 20 years getting there. Once we get there, we realize that it's not what we thought it would be because we're looking at it through a different lens. We also need to ask about the mindset. Do I have what it takes mentally to face all of this stuff that I'm going to face?
[21:21] Journey towards Goal.
I have never been able to achieve this goals on the first try. There is a deliberate sorting process before setting a big, audacious goal. You must have an intentional starting procedure like the racehorse has to get out of the gate clean. Enthusiasm is supposed to drop, but that doesn't mean it was a bad plan, or you can't do it.
[22:45]
From moment zero to goal completion, you have to expect that. You must do some recalibration to ensure that you've got enough people to have enough resources on board. You now believe that it's possible to move forward towards goal completion, and once you've done that, it's guaranteed I'm going to get to the finish line.
[23:48]
You have to go from believing you can do it to knowing you can do it. Street smarts in the real skills necessary to do it are an essential part of every aspirational goal. You got to finish the job without tripping before you cross the finish line.
[25:38]
When the game over is over, always remember you can do it. You need to get to that point where you have believed is not knowing if you stay in the daily grind and don't talk yourself out of it and quit prematurely, you're going to get up, and you're going to believe.
[28:43] The Process
The first thing is clarity. We need to get abundantly clear on three things. We need to be very clear on do you have the right goal. If you can't say that, I suggest you don't start.
[29:29]
The second thing is that we need to take an explicit inventory of who you are, your capabilities, your reach, where you are in, and your blind spots that give us a sense of your current capacity.
[30:35]
The third is to establish a trajectory then between where you are and where you want to get to that's got two parts, the first trajectory, you can take the known information that you have, that will demonstrate for you what the first target should be based upon the evidence.
[31:16]
You don't want to forfeit your time and effort, hope, and bigger future when the necessity and the parts that have to go right when the clarity is not there, don't do it. Once we have given ourselves enough time to pull the friction out responsibly, then we're up on the trend line where we're humming right along with that appropriate peak velocity, holding maximum momentum. That's where we can draw the finish line closer to us.
[33:53] What promise did God make to the world when He created you?
I promise to show up and answer the call. That is the promise I'm going to showing up 100%.

In this episode of Aww Shift Podcast, we have invited Trey Taylor, CEO of Taylor Insurance Services, Managing Director of trinity | blue, Consulting & Founding Partner of Ascend Partners, Keynote Speaker, and Author of the book “A CEO Only Does Three Things: Finding Your Focus in the C-Suite.” Trey believes that most CEO focuses only on leadership—but he says otherwise. Today, Trey talks about the three things CEOs of the modern world should focus on to succeed in their business and life endeavors.
[04:34] Why should we listen to you?
You will listen to me because I will ask your questions to find out who you are. I believe that we are all created in three different dimensions – intellectual, emotional, and identity “I AM” dimensions. Those three dimensions are the things I will dissect to see what’s within you.
[14:38] 1st Focus: Culture
Culture is the ethical environment in which you live, work, and play. The amalgamation of agreements between you and your employees makes in governing your interactions with each other. Culture is the values that you share and express with the people.
[17:41] Everyone has a culture, whether intentional or not. Most CEOs have their eyebrows raised when I talk to them about this. And often, they would realize how culture is an important factor in their businesses.
[18:50] 2nd Focus: People
How do you find the right people, get them on board, and keep them? Sometimes, having the right culture means having a different slate of people, and it becomes a really hard thing for CEOs to do. Ensure that you have a robust recruitment and retention process to keep the right people at your grasp.
[22:34] 3rd Focus: Numbers
The job of the CEO is to set the agenda. Ensure what you are tracking and achieving according to the things you are important in the business, achieving them with the right people, and being transparent with them.
[26:50] What promise did God make to the world when He created you?
I have a purpose statement of helping people see the greatness of them and live with it together with their families.
Key Quotes:
[06:29 – 06:39] “Our job as a listen is not to make people feel heard. That is only the byproduct. What we do is having the active work of understanding them as a person and how they fit in the universe.”
[19:09 – 19:14] “Sometimes, there’s people in your life that maybe you didn’t seek out but they are there anyway.”

In this episode of Aww Shift Podcast, we have invited JB Spisso, a Retired Sergeant Major from the United States Army, Owner of JBS Leaderships Consultant, LLC, a Leadership & Culture Expert, and Author of the book “Warrior Leadership: Steps to Success for Leaders on the Ground.” Today, JB talks about leadership and how to make your shine glow brighter for the world to see.
[05:58] Why should we listen to you?
You should listen to me because I take your talent to another level as I listen to your success and failure stories.
[10:48] Motivation
Believe in yourself that you can do it. You can prove it to the people who doubted you but prove that you can do impossible things possible for yourself first. You can’t rank your success to someone else because they climb differently than you do. Wake up every morning with victory and powerful thoughts to start your great day.
[16:23] Book Inspiration
I wrote the book to help aspiring leaders and current leaders learn simple things—how leadership is a learned trait, knowing the power of handwritten “Thank You” letters, showing gratitude, and how to bring calm in the chaos.
[18:50] Leadership
Leadership is a journey throughout life. You are never too good to learn. There are things you can learn from it. It is crucial to be authentic as a leader.
[20:28] Find the authentic leadership style that works for you and see how people gravitate towards it. When you mentor someone, don’t make an imitation of yourself. Provide them the guidance but let them spread their wings and talent shine. Be creative enough to challenge them in becoming the best version of themselves.
[24:33] What promise did God make to the world when He created you?
To motivate and inspire as many people as I can and assist them in becoming successful. My legacy will be known how I made them take the next step.
Key Quotes:
[06:20 – 06:23] “We are not born leaders—it is a learned trait.”
[08:58 – 09:06] “Leaders make mistakes the entire time. As a leader, own it and move on.”
[11:31 – 11:40] “Everybody takes a different path to success. As long as it is healthy and move along with it, you define what timeline is.”
[22:44 – 22:49] “The leader does not only have to get used to us, we also have to get used to them.”

In this episode of Aww Shift Podcast, we have invited Clifford Starks, MindBody Coach, Professional MMA Fighter, Motivational Speakers, and Author of the book “Awaken the Superhero In You.” Being a professional fighter did not stop Clifford from his endeavors, even in the entrepreneurial space. Today, Clifford talks about how he fought his way to the real estate industry.
[08:00] Why should we listen to you?
The best reason to listen to me is to have that “experience.” I did not realize how powerful it was as I have gone through my journey. Coaching is not only creating awareness; it is also about knowing the pitfalls and finding how far and big you can go. This is why life is beautiful—because you choose how you live with it.
[15:21] Competitive Edge Specialist
A competitive edge specialist is someone willing to jump and learn to their deep end together with others. It can be scary, difficult, and challenging, just like how fighting is. When you go through these anxieties and fears, you’re the one who makes the decision – will you shrink away or thrive and test your limits?
[17:38] When someone has the discipline as they go through the process and systems intended for them to overcome, they show up better than they were before—like a transformed individual.
[23:23] Fears and Failures
Fears are real. Not only are you holding yourself accountable for it, but others are also held responsible for it. Reality can be scary for people, which is why failure is always part of the process. When you fail, the process becomes easier when you deal with it the next time.
[28:10] What promise did God make to the world when He created you?
To truly love one another in a way they never knew. Because when you love others, you ultimately love yourself.
Key Quotes:
[18:47 – 18:50] “Life is always changing. It always presents new things.”
[21:08 – 21:16] “The power comes into question and allow people to look into the answers they never knew existed in the first place.”

In this episode, we have invited Jason Yarusi, Founder of Yarusi Holdings, and Co-Host of The Jason and Pili Project Podcast and Multifamily Live Podcast. Jason is adept at real estate investing with over 850 units invested worth more than $75 million. Today, Jason talks about overcoming difficulties and why building a robust foundation to achieve your endeavors is a must.
[07:01] Why should we listen to you?
The question we should ask always is about others about what we find in life. When I try to have a conversation, its not about me because people are too busy worrying their own lives. It all comes down to what value I can provide for that person—that would end up manifesting a conversational and formative relationship.
[14:53] Decisions
You cannot force someone to make a decision because they are not going to make it right. You can provide information and share your setbacks, journey, and goals that led you where you are to allow them make creative and better choices. There are times where you want all the answers, but you are not ready to take it all in.
[20:48] Warren Buffet’s “5-25 Rule”
Warren Buffet’s “5-25 Rule” says that you list down the Top 25 Most Important Things to you in order, circle the Top 5 Things from it, erase the rest of them, and never look at them again. There is no perfect balance. There will always be a reason for you to pour your energy into something. The crux of the matter is understanding your priorities.
[22:48] Look at the list. What part of the list that would cause massive repercussions if you decided to not pursue it? Because 80% of them does not really matter—where there is like to be no repercussions. Move things that are high stakes above the priority. Because if you will not do them, you’re going to be exactly where you are today, tomorrow, next week, and the years to come.
[26:57] What promise did God make to the world when He created you?
That I will be out there to help others help themselves. I might not have the resources but I can listen and help you traverse the direction you will go—because any action is better than inaction. Even if you never know if you made the wrong step, it allows you to get close to the right one.
Key Quotes:
[08:39 – 08:47] “You will never have all the answers. If you do, you are not in the right place and limiting yourself to push the boundaries.”
[12:13 – 12:20] “I can only be responsible for my choice and decisions. But how can I make a choice that can be more positive today?”
[18:35 – 18:38] “You are now ready. You just need a little push to take that step to go.”
[22:45 – 22:47] “You are living someone else’s dream without creating your own.”

In today's episode, our guest is Mike Duffy, CEO of Happiness Wealth Management in San Carlos, California. Mike is a philanthropist who wrote five books on happiness: The Great Luck: A Positive Guide to Happiness! The Happiness Hall of Fame Homeless Outreach, which provides desperate income, food, spiritual advice, and hope, was also founded by Mike. Mike began to appreciate, inspire, and honor those who made others happier. The Hall of Happiness of Fame.
[6:02] Why should I listen to you?
I talk to strangers almost every day, and I have a homeless outreach. My experience led me to start speaking to strangers on the street, getting to know them, and becoming friends. That moment shifted my destiny, and it's a given that we received the gift of my time.
[8:49] Happiest people have past tragedy.
I was born happy, born grateful love to be around people and have fun. At the age of 17, I lost my mom. Now I was gifted with one of the most amazing mothers ever. But within three months, she had died of cancer. And I was left in a state of depression for years there. You will find that most people that are the happiest today have tragedy, or trauma someplace in their past.
[11:26] People's concepts in ability to have money.
I took a course at Stanford on failure. I learned that failure is a real ingredient in success. Think of Edison; think of Colonel Sanders, who 1000 times was turned down with his great scheme of walking into restaurants and saying, here's my fried chicken restaurant recipe. And then finally, after 1000 times, somebody said, Yes, and it grew from there.
[14:29] Practicing Gratitude.
The older you get, the more you understand the people you love start to pass away. A great exercise is to at night before you go to sleep, just run through all the good things in your life. The other thing is to meditate. And it just relaxes your body. When you relax your body and push the fear out, you're set to start your day; it's impossible to get to the point where you have no thoughts.
[19:05] Thoughts in our mind.
Our brains are constantly being bombarded with fear and stress and anxiety. I push them to the side and focus on what's good. I imagined myself because I used to study martial arts as those commands in slow motion.
[21:20] Spreading happiness to people.
I'm actually gaining physical places to go to speak, I love meeting people. I love making people laugh. Life is beautiful, that life is worth living.
[23:20] What promise did God make to the world when He created you?
I love making people laugh. I love to go out and meet people and tell them that they can do what I can do. The world needs to laugh.
Key Quotes
[8:49 - 8:57] You will find that most people that are the happiest today have tragedy, some, or trauma someplace.
[12:53 - 12:55] Change your thoughts, change your life.
[16:06 - 16:11] When you relax your body and you push the fear out, then you're set to start your day.

In today’s episode, our guest is Michael Monroe Goodman, a songwriter and recording artist in the country music genre based in Los Angeles. Michael, who was born and raised in Kentucky, epitomizes authenticity when it comes to sharing true tales of country life. His tunes, with their spicy guitar licks and catchy melodies, would leave listeners craving more of his honky-tonk vibe. And today, he is going to share with us all about success, facing obstacles, and perseverance in life.
[2:59] Why should we listen to you?
I'd describe myself as someone who finds the truth. That's how I've always been. Even as a kid, I was always on the lookout for truth and wisdom and I make it clear. Maybe that's why I like good country music so much; it's just about the truth. It is about finding the reality in the universe and one's own life.
[3:53] What distinguishes country music is its honesty or truthfulness. And there's an explanation why people identify with songs like that: people crave the fact.
[4:58] I conclude that the true purpose of existence is to discover the facts. If not, what are you looking for?
[6:00] The Reality
There's no doubt that when you discovered God, you found the truth. When you find out the facts, you have a sense of connection to the Creator, the world, and everything surrounding you. Many individuals become suicidal, commit suicide, and commit other heinous acts because they do not feel close to the Creator; they do not feel connected to the world.
[7:03] When you think that you are an outcast of the world, that you do not belong, you will feel alone. But once you know the facts, you realize you're a part of something far more significant. And that something far bigger is our life, which is a divine blessing to us.
[8:32] Mistakes
The goodness of God is divine. We're the only ones who make mistakes. That's because we're all human. Pursuing perfection is futile because humans are inherently imperfect. Do the best, don't settle for mediocrity, and do whatever you can to forgive yourself. It would be best if you forgave yourself daily. Some people cannot forgive themselves, and they punish themselves for errors they have committed their whole life. Allow yourself to let go and believe God, and all your worries will wash away like a stream.
[7:26] For years I’ve kept thinking that something was missing and in 2005, I figured it out and it was our core values. Nobody ever taught me anything about core values, or how to even discover your core values. I had to come up with questions. And I had to dig deep inside of me to figure it out. I kept asking myself questions and one day said to myself that I think I’m ready to discover who I am. I made a list of words that describe my passion for the things that get me fired up. I circled 6 words that I wrote and decided that this is who I am. And that was the start of us, for me to put some words to those six core values, and then we shut down the company for a whole half a day to introduce those core values to our company. I wanted our people to go through the discovery process as I did.
[10:54] Gifts
I felt I had a musical talent from a very young age. I didn't realize how serious it was because I was an only child. I was still very imaginative as a child, making up stories, acting out stories, or watching movies and singing along with them. I was fortunate to be born at that time. My parents were close friends with Bill Monroe, so I grew up behind the scenes. I didn't know I was talented when I was a teenager.
[12:19] I grew up in a dysfunctional family, dealing with depression and struggling to find my way in the world. I didn't grow up feeling loved and cared for, which is what any child requires. So, when the music clicked, I thought there's something I can do. God created me for a purpose greater than this.
[15:03] Music
Any of the songs I've written are unique to me. I had a song called "she was mine" on my previous record. The song was about realizing we're all human. Sure, my mother should have done better; I'm sure she wished she could have done better. She was broke, and she had ghosts to fight before the song was married. Still, she is the best mother I'll ever have.
[16:21] However, excellent storytellers will see the future without the veil of anything else in the world. They will see people about whom they have a better understanding of human nature. So, I consider myself fortunate to see the universe and people and realize how plain we are, seeing what moves us, what pushes us, and what kills us or raises us. As a songwriter, I'm always searching for a story that hasn't been written before.
[19:45] Guidance
I have to tell you a story about trust, optimism, and advice. Since then, I've been making music. But I needed to hear stories, and I like acting it out. So, it was always a thing to me. I wanted to waste time by entertaining people and making them laugh. I took courses, but to pay for them, I had to work several jobs; thus, I suffered. Nonetheless, I have faith in myself, and I know I can do it, and I enjoy what I'm doing.
[25:41] I was under the impression that I needed to challenge myself. Because of that, my whole life changed; I put myself out there, believing that I could do something that only I knew I could do when no one else did.
Key Quotes
[4:17-4-25] “People suffer or feel stuck in life because we embrace too many facts that aren't true as reality.”
[22:56-23:01] “You must have faith in yourself. You should do it, even though you have no proof that you will actually be able to profit from it.”

In today’s episode, our guest is Eric Balance, an entrepreneur, public speaker, Tony Robbins Platinum Partner, and digital marketing consultant who helps companies expand their online space leading to a wildly profitable business. Eric helps some top names in the industry monetize their knowledge online and assist them in building a brand around themselves so they can achieve the freedom and fulfilment they deserve. Join us in this fascinating episode with Eric Balance, as he shares his insights on his journey of finding the “more” in life.
[5:26] You probably weren't raised this way. How did you get here?
Eric has always been introspective and fascinated with how life works. He was not convinced that we just exist to get by. At an early age, he became skeptical, started having questions, and became focused on the pursuit of finding the "more" about life.
[10:00] For many years, Eric worked in the oil and gas industry, and money motivated him to stay in the field for a little while. Eventually, he realized that he was worth more, and he is capable of doing more. Eric has various work experiences in different industries, which allowed him to understand that these experiences were adding to his toolbox. His exposure and work experiences developed Eric's skills. He excels in sales and is great at building rapport with others, communicating, and connecting with others, especially concerning emotion.
[11:24] Coming to that realization, Eric decided to become a mindset coach. The physical aspect was a by-product of that pursuit.
[17:26] What does it mean when you talk about being conscious of doing the work?
Every day, our bodies are tuned in to what we have been conditioned. Eventually, that becomes the unconscious mind which develops into a routine. These routines have become so unconscious that we don't even seek for more, and we just do the same things repeatedly.
[19:52] Imagine yourself as a tool. Every tool has a manual. When you only read 10% of the manual, you'll not maximize and just neglect other special features of the tool. Using this analogy, if you start to tap into the 90% of your body - the mind and spirit, you will begin to live a life with a high level of consciousness, resulting in a more fulfilled life.
[26:49] Do you feel like that will allow creativity happened?
Whatever season you are in life, permit yourself to use these creative forces within you as a four-score possibility. And don't think that you always need to know what the outcome will be. Just believe enough that you're going, and you're doing the best you can with the knowledge you have today.
Key Quotes
[16:07-16:15] “This is the feeling of vulnerability that I am having right now. And it's okay for you to have that too.”
[21:51-21:59] “Allow yourself to break a pattern in yourself that creates a new understanding that gives you a new level of courage.”

In today’s episode, our guest is Jack Murphy. He is the Co-Founder of I Love My Freedom, an army of patriots who love America, have faith in God, and on pursuit of defending every American’s freedom rights. I Love My Freedom is a patriotic e-commerce company that went from zero orders to over 1 million orders in just over two years. Join us as we dive deep into politics, digital marketing, e-commerce business, and the journey to success with Jack Murphy.
[7:20] Why should we listen to you?
Jack's journey has always been anchored by his passion. He has learned and grown in the digital marketing industry and has built over 1.3 million orders in two and a half years. With his experience, he has so much interesting takeaways, especially about marketing aspects that he could impart and hopefully will inspire and motivate others.
[8:35] Story of how things came to fruition
Growing up, Jack always wanted to be a professional football athlete. Influenced by his grandfather, an NFL coach, he grew up going to all the games and being in that environment. Jack has always been passionate about football. During his elementary years, he started building websites online, just for fun. Eventually, Jack ended up building his own motivational sports brand during his high school years.
[9:38] One of Jack's many influences is Donald Trump. When Trump run for president, Jack had that gut feeling that Trump would win, just seeing the charisma he had brought to the boring game of politics. He was inspired to build something similar to sports, but with Pro-Trump political collaterals, essentially.
[10:17] Jack grew passionate about business, the internet, and politics. In 2018, he ended up partnering with two incredible people, and together they built http://ilovemyfreedom.com/.
[12:28] What is the idea behind the name I Love My Freedom?
I Love My Freedom initially commenced as a news website before Jack was around. Eventually, he got on board as a writer for I Love My Freedom, and simultaneously, he was buying ad space on that site for his brands. When he met his business partners, they brainstormed and came up with shifting the gears and transforming the site into e-comm site.
[13:36] The vision of I Love My Freedom is to get patriotic products into the hands of as many people as possible coupled with the core foundation of God, guns, and freedom.
[16:19] Lessons you have learned in your journey that you think the world would benefit from knowing
Growing up, Jack had a very close relationship with his grandfather. As he describes it, they were each other's best friends. His grandfather has taught him many things, but the most impactful to him is the essence of appreciating life and treating every day like it's the last.
[18:13] I Love My Freedom constantly adapts to the fast pace industry of digital marketing. They value innovation, never stay complacent, and always stay on top of the game. Over the years, Jack has been exposed to different areas and facets of their business, from going through all the hurdles on the digital front, operations front, supply chain, and learning the nitty-gritty of the business's financial aspects.
[18:39] Do you have any worries as you put yourself kind of out more in the forefront and people connect a face to the products in the brand
Jack does not like to dip into waters where there's a lot of differentiation now. But at the end of the day, as they progress, these things naturally unfold.
[22:17] Where do you see the brand going, the business going, and then too what would you deem as success you're seeking?
Jack's goal is to reach a hundred million in gross revenue a day before he turns 26. The business continues to build this loyal following, efficiently assisting and providing quality service to their customers. In today’s episode, our guest is Tony Kovicak, founder of Lux therapy. Their product was wrapped around something more of a passion for health and wellness. They were able to find opportunities for growth within an area to create medical-grade light therapy that is a sleek, affordable, and really precise product that helps a ton of people. Tony’s going to unpack not only the product and its benefits, but also the human behind the scenes cause something like this doesn't come to fruition from someone who's not passionate about it.
[6:06] Why should we listen to you?
My path is a combination of athletics and self-reflection and family and a lot of different disciplines. I've had a lot of setbacks throughout my life, but I've always gotten better and I've continued to grow and find ways to enrich my life and not only my life, but the people around me, even in the most chaotic and wild times throughout my life, I've found ways to connect with people and through that passion and that wellness.
[6:47] How did that become a passion from a kid?
Not so much. I grew up the youngest of four within a Midwest family and had a pretty normal childhood. And I think throughout my life, I've continued to have goals and purposes that have brought this out of me in a few different ways. Thinking back on how this all came about to where I am today, I had continued down this path of continuing to have a stronger career.
[7:38] When I started listening to my intuition and starting to understand what was really fulfilling for me, it was when I connected with people, it was when I was able to share something that brought out, not just goodness in me, but helping people see things that within themselves that they didn't really know were there.
[9:13] What was your life experience back then?
I grew up the youngest of four, grew up in an athletic family. We grew up in Midwest, Michigan, and our sport was wrestling. So I was the youngest of four wrestlers. My brothers were all wrestlers. My oldest brother when he was in his twenties and I was maybe 12 or 13, gave me the Anthony Robbins Awaken the giant within program 12. And he gives me this pretty serious motivational speaker set of tapes. So I started doing these programs and these tapes. At that age, I didn't really have goals and financial aspirations. I was actually applying these for wrestling.
[11:05] I grew up in a family where my father had worked at general motors, so there was always in the sphere of unemployment. So I had been instilled with getting a job and be happy that you have a job and stick with that job for the rest of your life. And if you have a job, you should be really blessed to keep that job. And if you leave that job, you must be crazy. So I had these ways of thinking about and how I was going through these stages of my life.
[12:13] I realized that my happiness was actually not really in line with all of those successes that I had had through my career. And I decided that it was time to actually make some changes. I shifted gears at that point. I took a big risk.
[16:34] I had this real appetite for health and wellness. That feeling of just being outside and being connected to nature, I wanted to hold on to that. And it was during this time that I'm living in San Francisco, that I came across grade light therapy. And at this point, I was very into the science and the rear.
[17:54] I was living in San Francisco and my mom had a health and health scare that basically made me reassess where I was and why what I was doing and what was important. Parents are in the late seventies and it was one of those things I wanted to be around them as much as I could.
[18:56] Lessons learned and what are you expected to do in years to come?
Lux therapy is a medical-grade light therapy device company. We produce and design and make our own products and we sell them direct to consumers. There are certain ones that interact with our bodies. Two very specific bands of light that they found just in the last 30 years are really beneficial to recovery. And sleep in the skin and helping with all types of arthritis.
[19:49] When I started digging into this and understanding and testing it on my friends and family and myself, I saw the benefits in a way that not only enhanced and gave me purpose to bringing this to the masses, but it really helped me with just with my workouts and my recovery and my skin.
[21:12] This product helps level out and make up for this deficiency that we have.
[21:41] How does Lux therapy work?
It's a device that you basically have in your home. Most of the products that are in the market are not built to actually incorporate into your life. We built it to be flexible, have a comfortable handle that can be easily moved by the elderly population. It's a small little device we're going to have more in the future, but it allows you to have targeted treatments that you can use.
[22:59] What's the difference between ultrasound?
You have different waves. And within that full-spectrum, you have things like x-rays and gamma rays that you don't see. But the things that we see are the invisible
[25:41] What promise did God make to the world when he created you?
God promises that I'm going to utilize all the tools under the sun to show people how to live a balanced well lived, happy, and healthy life.
