To say I was prepared for this podcast would be the most criminal lie of my life. To introduce Solis as "just an artist" would undermine all the other qualities that are felt during this podcast. Sitting with him I was prepared to talk only  music, but we also spoke about spirituality, healing, and how it all interconnects us with art. There I was, taking my regular trip to the local Walmart when I came across two school buses with a family setting up shop right outside of them. It’s the final episode of the first ever “June in Jersey” and who else to send us off then Paterson/Clifton’s very own Niyah Badass. Niyah fell in love with music at a young age which lead her to become a DJ. When she was in high school she got her first big gig opening for Joey Badass. From there she has gone on to tour with the likes of  Lil Mosey, Polo G, Jack Harlow and others! In this podcast we talk her origins, her journey, behind the scenes of touring, the struggles of an artist after tour, with a very first surprise twist at the end of this epsiode that has NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE ON A PODCAST.
