Increasing evidence indicates the involvement of B cells in the pathogenesis of multiple sclerosis (MS), but their exact role is unclear. Despite that uncertainty, B-cell depletion therapies have shown to ease symptoms, prevent relapses, and even slow the course of the disease. So how exactly do B-cell therapies work, and how do we know if they’re right for our patients?
