  • Episode 272: Future Kick

Future Kick is a movie we have all seen the poster for at least once in our lives. We've all probably seen it numerous times and thought maybe I will watch that. It looks like a Terminator rip off starring Don "The Dragon" Wilson, so why not? But the reality is that even though you've seen the poster over and over again and had those same thoughts every time, you've still never decided to actually watch Future Kick. Well, we decided to be the ones to finally watch this film.

  • Episode 269: Hellboy (2019)

Some things are better left alone, Hellboy (2019) is the perfect example of that. If you don't want to give your best effort, do some half assed makeup mixed with poor CGI, and mash together 20 different stories that don't really make one concise plot then why even bother. The only thing this movie benefits from is the performance given by David Harbour as Hellboy, other than that.....well listen and find out.

  • Episode 268: RAMBO: Last Blood

This movie is both gruesome and unsettling. Is it entertainment? Is there a not so subtle message in here about horrible, real world shit? Does John J. 's over the top, cartoonish crusade of revenge detract from that message? This is Rambo: Last Blood.

  • Episode 267: The Predator

Did you see The Predator? If not, why? Did you just not care? Do you normally listen to what critics have to say about "genre movies"? Maybe you just feel burned from the bad sequels/reboots of the past? Or maybe Predator just has a niche fanbase with standards so high they will never be pleased? Well this week on the podcast, we answer these questions and more while we share our thoughts on The Predator from 2018.

  • Episode 266: Alien: Covenant

As we continue our new year, new decade, and mostly new to Nick theme for the month, we stumble upon one man's vision about the ultimate synthetic being named David. Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the super smart new captain of the colony ship Covenant discovers what he thinks to be an uncharted paradise. While there, his crew meet David, the synthetic savior, sorry, survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition. What has David been up to since the Prometheus expedition? Well let's just go with the old saying, "Idle hands are the devil's workshop,"  and those hands turn this mysterious world dark and dangerous very quick when a hostile alien life-form, created by our new synthetic savior David, forces the crew into a deadly fight for survival.

  • Episode 265: IT Chapter Two

Since it is a new year and new decade, we decided to kick off 2020 with some newer not so B Movies that we (mainly Nick) have not seen yet. Which brings us to our first selection of January 2020.... Certain stories verge on being more than a story. They are an experience. Stephen King's IT is that kind of a story, and with the release of IT Chapter Two on home video, we take the opportunity to discuss all things IT. From Maturin the Turtle to the multiverse, we get into IT. (Please excuse the audio in the first 30 minutes after the intro, we had some technical difficulties)

  • Episode 264: Kirk Cameron's Saving Christmas

Do you feel Christmas has strayed from its source? Do you believe that capitalism has run a muck and ruined a once pure holiday? Do you blame the druids for the war against hot chocolate? Would you rather ignore historical context and string together a bunch of true things to help prove your thesis? Is your idea of a good Christmas movie one that twists true things to prove a thesis about religion? Then this movie is meant for you. If you think this sounds like a total chore, then this episode is meant for you. Enjoy some holiday cheer as we discuss a movie with an agenda truly all it's own. We should all be thankful that Kirk Cameron decided Christmas needed saving because he "saves" it the only way he knows how, by filming a sermon inside of an SUV for under 90 minutes.
