In the Secret Speakeasy's first ever Cigar Night, Brandt and Scott welcome back their very own Norm, aka, Chris Trostle back to the outdoor section of the speakeasy as they guys drink some whisky and smoke some cigars.
Find out what cigars they paired with what whiskeys and then stick around for some Disney discussion about everything from Steak to PBJ...wait, no there was none of that talk. But good times were had, and hopefully not the last cigar night in the Secret Speakeasy.

As we get back to our regular programming, we try a series of three whiskeys from Tennessee's most famous distillary, Jack Daniels. In kind of a wood experiment, Jack takes their regular old No.7 black label and finishes it in three different ways. Hear what happens when you try to make dung into gold.

What's more manly that sitting around a campfire drinking whiskey. Sorry, that was a rhetorical question, but the answer is nothing. High West have made what is undoubtedly the best campfire whiskey...and they named it accordingly.

I know...the hiatus was too long. Well, welcome back to the Secret Speakeasy as we sit down to enjoy a new, but actually old, find by Brandt. Peerless Rye and Peerless Bourbon have been around since 1850 but they, like us, took a little break.
Join us for a dram of some outstanding whiskey thats popping up in Louisville's prestigious distillery row.

With summer infull swing, we decided to invite a few secret society members down to the newly reopened speakeasy to make one of the Summer's best drinks...the Mint Julep.
We all know that the Mint Julep is the official drink of the Kentucky Derby, and with over 120,000 served on race weekend, no wonder.
Join Brandt and Scott as they welcome Secret Speakeasy guests Christ Trostle and (our first female guest) Sidney Bourque.
To make your own Mint Julep check out the official recipe, and then maybe try one of our variations. Mint Julep Recipe
Be sure to share on the B-S.E.A. facebook page.

A huge thanks to B-S.E.A. member Sara Ford as she presents us with a flight of whisky from Crown Royal's Noble Collection that definitely changes our opinion on The Crown. This month we drink Crown's Cornerstone, Wine Finished, Bourbon Mash 13, XR Blue, and 75th Monarch Blend. Should have saved this for 1 July, as it is a salute to all nations, but mostly Canada.

I mean, look at this, its a bottle with a giant rooster that says "Chicken Cock" on it; how can we take that seriously. Well the people over at Chicken Cock have something else in mind. They produced a limited edition, beer barrel finished bourbon, that surprised us...we were blown away by this cock. Sit back and pour yourself a dram of Chicken Cock as we venture back to the secret speakeasy.

Like Daniel Craig's 007, we love Macallan. So for the first time ever, and likely forever, we are drinking Macallan M as we wrap up the Bourbon and Bond Series. Join us for our final tie into the James Bond Flims as we taste two whiskies from the Macallan Estate. What's the other...youll have to wait and see.

M, in her position of power, clearly enjoys the finer things in life. She must also be one part nurturer and one part disciplinarian. Cold, calculated and headstrong, M sits down at the end of a day to a fine glass of Cognac.
Tonight in the Secret Speakeasy, Brandt and Scott take a break from whisky for a dram of Martell XO and Martell Cordon Bleu. Its a different sort of Brown Water this week ob B-S.E.A.
