As we close out the month of December, its time warm up with some Rye Whiskey.  This isnt just any Rye, its High West's annual release of A Midwinter Nights Dram.  The limited release of High West Rendezvous Rye and Double Rye is aged first in standard oak barrels then finished in French oak port barrels.  Just as High West suggests, we recommend that you grab your favorite wingback leather chair and cozy up to a crackling fire and enjoy a Midwinter Nights Dram.

Day 15 of the Whiskey Advent Calendar brings us a 16 year old Islay whisky from Bruichladdich.  This Single Cask was specially chosen by Master of Malt, the company that brings you these drinks by the dram.  From one of the oldest Islay distilleries, to closing for a couple of decades, Bruichladdich has arisen from the ashes of the peat fires to become one of the most exciting distilleries in Scotland.  Cheers, and Happy Hoidays!
