After some deep contemplation, the Newbies have decided that they simply can not stay away from Charity's search for LOVE.  After Leane initially feeling Charity was going to be too low-key for the Bachelorette spotlight, she has completely changed her tune after Episode 1.  The Newbies are all about Charity's grounded, authentic, kind, quality and the caliber of men seem to match her! The Newbies are all about these men. Perhaps Charity's person IS present at the mansion after all. 

Who knows where this season will take the Newbies but in episode one the topics range from men who knit to douchebag gymrats to the value of Pinterest boards to being your own soulmate to making sure women know how to change lightbulbs and much more.

The Newbies can NOT believe that Zach's journey is over and that he and Kaity are happily skipping off together into the Austin sunset! The season has been more fun than the Newbies ever expected and we're sad to see Zach's wacky journey come to a close. 

All kinds of topics are discussed including how has Kaity NOT gotten the ick factor yet?; the power of mentor Sean's segment during the 3-hour finale; and WHY is the finale THREE hours???; what a queen Ariel is over and over again; the continued confusion as to why on earth did Zach make his no sex promise and then tell Kaity and not tell Ariel?; how much Leane loves Gabi for saying she and Zach's interlude was "beyond the TV show"; and how disappointed The Newbies are that Zach told everyone after he told her it would be "just between us!!" Oh Zach the Snack. The Newbies discuss Zach's inner need to tell the truth ALWAYS no MATTER WHAT. Even when it makes no sense whatsoever to tell the truth. 

The Newbies reconvene after their week off due to some sad family news and have a raw conversation that spans topics from spontaneous bouts of insecurity and self-doubt to Gabi's bouts of crying to how much Ariel is a absolute Queen to Zach's baffling decision to reveal his sexual encounter with Gabi to his soon-to-be fiancee Kaity.

Phoebe is on Spring Break so she and Leane are together at home recording the old school way with Claire still at her undisclosed location.  Phoebe and Leane had an "emotional" time watching the Bachelor together on a chilly LA day and Claire is absolutely stunned that there were any tears shed at all for Zach! 

Topics this week include the meaning behind feeling "the butterflies";  how this batch of women are basically "ick-proof" according to Claire and Phoebe; whether or not tilting your head back truly stops the tears from falling; and general excitement and analysis of how the Newbies feel heading into HOMETOWNS!

It's Phoebe's Spring Break and after a harrowing trip to Claire's undisclosed college location to see Claire in a super fun production of "Puffs!", the Newbies host a rainy afternoon Monday BNN session.  

The topics are wide and varied  including Zach's privilege oozing out of his pores as he whines about having "no more room service" post Covid;  Jess trying to explain to Zach her love language but he sees it as a "disconnect"; is Kat losing her edge for the Final Four spot; how Zach seems to be a different, better person in Ariel's presence and somehow the conversation ends with an uncomfortable mom/daughter conversation involving BDSM. HUH?

Claire is beyond busy in her tech week  of her college play so the Newbies are late to recording this week but they gather on a Sunday afternoon to discuss all things London like High Tea, Double Decker Busses and Snogging - but also dig deep into random stories like the 25th anniversary of the Titanic and how Leane's parents witnessed a hold up at a local pharmacy. 

On the love front, the Newbies interest in Zach is slipping as he slams Greer for caring about her career as much as he cares about finding his person. What? The virtual nature of this week's episode was a true let-down but yet the Newbies will hang in there because talking about love adjacent topics is just too much fun.
