Bachelor Nation Newbies

Two years ago, the Newbies set out on a journey they had no idea would last this long!  After some contemplation, this mother-daughters trio decided to keep the conversation alive despite their busy schedules and general confusion as to why they keep watching The Bachelor. 

Leane is home in LA while both Claire and Phoebe are off at their undisclosed college locations.  This reunion conversation at the top of 2023 covers important topics such as why do we all keep watching this franchise; what's the difference between a trend and a flattening aesthetic; is it weird that all the girls kinda look the same or is it just a sign of imitation is the sincerest form of flattery; and some other basic introductory topics like do they even like Zach?  And why does every bachelor look like Jesse? 

It's a lively kick off to another round of mother-daughter conversations and we are so happy to have you joining us on this particular love journey!

The Newbies experienced some technical difficulties after this episode so the audio quality is a little whacked but we have finally posted our FINALE episode which may very well be our swan song to this BNN experience. Because how could we possibly spare one more minute of our precious lives watching this love show fiasco? 

The Newbies lament the whack-ass end of Rachel's time being "the bachelorette" and even though both Rachel AND Gabby were deserving of love (according to Jesse) it seems only Gabby has some leftover love from this season that may last for a while. :) 

Thank you so much for joining us this season as this mom/daughters trio endured Phoebe's move to college and Claire's move back to college and Leane is now home solo with Tommy. :)

The day after Leane and Phoebe fly to Phoebe's new college town and arrive after midnight, the Newbies gather to laugh and cry about all that has transpired on Gabby and Rachel's love journey.  And in their own lives! 

The Newbies aren't sure how to feel this week with all of the emotions flowing with SO MUCH LIFE transition going! And how are we all supposed to come back from Gabby losing her soulmate because she's not ready to be a Mom? And is anyone ever 100 percent ready to be a Mom? And what does that even mean?  The Newbies can't see anyone else with Gabby and Leane predicts that Nayte is going to show back up after The Final Rose. 

Other topics include how to handle extreme heartbreak; the power of distraction; the frustration and satisfaction of adulting; why Jason had so much trouble owning that he enjoys giving a woman oral sex; how that previous topic made Leane a bit uncomfortable discussing with her daughters; and so much more!!

With so much LIFE swirling, the Newbies have had a hard time to keep up with the Gabby and Rachel love journey but they sit down on a Monday morning to discuss such compelling topics as Leane's intense emotional make-up and her shock that being a Scorpio is a water sign; Rachel's need to be wanted by everyone if she doesn't even want the guy; whether or not Logan handled her crush in Gabby in the right way; how much Aven is now the new fave; the power of owning your stuff and taking the blame!; and of course more talk about how the Newbies get the ICK if there is ANY reference at all to Rachel or Gabby being their "mommy." The Newbies can't get enough of "mommy love" chat.

The Newbies recorded a double episode this past week at the tail end of their mother/daughter day.   A girls' day was much needed as Leane prepares to send BOTH Claire and Phoebe to undisclosed locations for COLLEGE!  They kicked off their day watching Episode 4 of Rachel and Gabby's love journey fiasco and ended it with dinner and a massage! 

In their post-massage relaxed state, the Newbies discuss a variety of topics which include Hayden taking a harsh turn into being the biggest jerk ever and his scary obsession  with Rambo;  Rachel's need to take back her power and start creating a new narrative within herself;  the unexpected pro-therapy attitude of Jason and how therapy buzz words can be like pick-up lines; the Newbies new love for Tyler and how he's all in for Rachel; and more fun topics of course!

In a groundbreaking moment in BNN history, the Newbies are up early on a summer morning to dig into the extreme turnaround in their level of interest in this season's love journey for Gabby and Rachel. 

Gabby is the ultimate queen but the Newbies are rooting for love for both of these women although they wish that Rachel would realize she doesn't need to do anything to make sure she is the "best bachelorette" for these greasy men.
