The Newbies are still on winter vacation together as they gather for a lively lighthearted conversation about Episode 2 of Clayton's Love Journey! Topics include: Is Cassidy's forward behavior smart or not so smart in the long run?; Leane's belief that closed mouth kisses are preferred at this stage in the love game; Claire's celebrity crush and what the heck is fan fiction anyway?; How The Bachelor is back to it's majestic roots with that epic helicopter/YACHT first date; the Newbies make their Final Four predictions after only two episodes; and so much more!
Is this a new tradition? To predict the Final Four? Shall we make a love bracket similar to March Madness and give away a grand prize at the end? Follow us on Insta at @BNNewbies and make your guesses! Who will be the last four women standing??

Here's to love!
As a warning - this episode discusses some sexual themes that border on explicit; and other topics like abuse, prostitution, and stripping.
Happy New Year to our fierce BNN fan base that built steadily over 2021 and one that we hope to continue to grow as we follow Clayton's Love Journey! The Newbies are proud to announce that that they have their own nation - Bachelor Nation Newbies Nation! BNNN! :)
This first episode was a bit of a doozy for the Newbies as Leane, Claire and Phoebe found themselves suddenly in intense uncharted waters. As stated before, the Newbies get into some sexual themes that border on explicit (Leane is still traumatized from it); and other topics such as abuse, prostitution, and stripping. Phoebe still can't believe the Newbies dove into such deep waters during EPISODE ONE!
It's a different sounding episode as Leane was in Arizona visiting her parents while Claire and Phoebe were together holding down the fort in LA with Tommy. A few technical issues do pop up along the way but the newbies manage to have a thought provoking conversation with topics such as:
Reactions to Jesse Palmer as the new host and Clayton as The Bachelor; Why did Salley with an "e" get so much screen time?; Isn't it time The Bachelor franchise shows more diversity in every way? Body type included please?; How do we all feel about sending out older Holly as a "joke" to be Rachel's wingwoman?; Is Leane even a feminist?; and SO MUCH MORE!
Special guest appearances by Tommy's whistling; Leane's Dad and the kids' Grandpa; and some minor technical difficulties.
Here's to LOVE!
Here's a little Christmas Day gift for you! THE FINALE OF BNN!! Claire is home for the holidays so the Newbies gather around the Christmas Tree to discuss the joy and heartbreak of the final episode of Michelle Ann(e) Young's love journey!
Topics include Brandon's utter shock that he was not Michelle's "person"; how the Newbies like Nayte waaaay more after "After the Final Rose" part of the ep; whether or not having one soulmate/SoulNayte is really a thing; whether Claire and Phoebe believe in the kind of fairytale love that The Bachelor/ette Franchise continue to promote; and how grateful the Newbies are for spending 2021 with each other and all of you discussing life, love, and everything in between!!
Here's to 2022 when the Newbies decide whether they will continue this podcast and if they do, will they change the name to Bachelor Nation Citizens!! :)
Special guest appearances by Marvel the Husky and LA rain storm.
Pleas take a moment to rate and review and Happy New Year! Here's to health, happiness and of course, LOVE!
It's a rainy Thursday evening in Los Angeles and the Newbies MUST discuss the latest fantasy suites episode in Michelle's Love Journey because WHAT? JOE IS GONE?!!! Leane and Phoebe try to eat as quietly as possible during this week's installment of BNN as they attempt to bury their sorrow about Joe's departure in a good taco.
Other topics include: Brandon's inability to say anything remotely normal like "I like pizza" instead of professing his undying love for Michelle every time he opens his mouth; how can Michelle possibly be okay with a food fight in BED; is Nayte really ready for an engagement in a week??; how the Newbies can see Joe and Michelle together as an old couple; and how The Bachelor franchise needs to start introducing reality check dates into their format like trips to the grocery store!!
Special guest appearances by Marvel the Husky, loud tacos and chips, and Phoebe's significant other.

Ahhh it's the holidays and Phoebe was in her school play and Claire was in her school dance show so the Newbies are way behind with these latest two episodes! As the Newbies celebrate the one year anniversary of Marvel the Husky coming into their lives, Marvel decides to be the loudest dog ever with breathing and singing and howling while the Newbies try to stay on task discussing Michelle's Love journey!
In this week's 2-part episode, the Newbies discuss how much they miss Rodney; how much Joe seems to have missed out on some basic high school romance because of his b-baller life; how much they think Michelle and Brandon's dad like each other; and how much Nate seems to be "in love" for the first time in his young life. Other topics include how important it is for the significant other to like each other's families; whether it's a dealbreaker if Claire or Phoebe's SO doesn't like Leane; how do you know if one is "ready" for marriage or "love"; and how the Newbies have a soft spot for Jamie and his pain body!

If you're wondering what DWOL means, you will just have to listen to this week's episode!
The Newbies gather around the kitchen counter early on a Saturday morning to try and make sense of what transpired in Michelle's love journey on Episode 6!! And is Clayton, the ULTIMATE VIKING and the one guy who seems truly ready for marriage, really GONE? He's definitely seeming like the next BACHELOR!! We will watch that season for sure.
As the men dwindle on Michelle's season, the Newbies struggle through their morning episode discussing such topics as the heartbreak of Tayisha and Zac's breakup; the overly scripted nature of this episode especially the "spontaneous" arrival of Michelle's parents while Michelle and Brandon were making out in the hot tub; whether or not the Newbies enjoy "DWOL"; whether young, playful vibes are good for an adult relationship, and a variety of other topics before Claire has to rush off to the airport to catch a flight to her undisclosed location.
Special guest appearances by the Marvel the loud Husky; a visit from Ethan and the dryer trying to finish laundry before Claire leaves back to college.

Claire is back home for Thanksgiving break and the Newbies gather around the dining room table just where they began their BNN adventure in January. Sticking with their new topic format, each Newbie introduces a topic that stands out to them from the episode. For Phoebe, it's the term "falling on deaf ears" and what that really means; for Leane - it's dissecting Joe's feeling that "Ball is life" and without Ball who is he?; and for Claire - it's breaking down the belief that some men have that women are high maintenance and what that really means anyway.
And of course in between all the mother/daughter conversation, the Newbies touch on other aspects of Michelle's love journey like how much Clayton loves being the ultimate Viking; do Joe and Michelle have good kissing vibes or no?: why do the mean have to arm wrestle to prove anything? and how loud can the Newbies yell MICHELLE!!!!????
Special appearance by Ethan who knocks on the door late in the episode and a happy birthday tune for Leane's birthday.

The Newbies record late on Thursday evening after Phoebe returns from a concert on Sunset Blvd. to discuss the riveting season of Michelle's quest to find her "person." The Newbies can't seem to get past talking about the slumber party group date where the boys were more interested in cotton candy and large stuffed teddy bears than angling for Michelle's love and attention. The theme of "Being Seen" is the main topic of this episode.
Leane is shocked to hear that Claire has a history of feeling the butt of the joke and has personal experience with feeling unseen. It's a theme a lot of women have so Mom and daughters dissect the topic and end up discussing exactly how many people do you need in your life to see you. The Newbies continue to admire Michelle for recognizing what SHE needs and stating her needs clearly. But they also question if the Michelle's "person" is even in this group of boy-men. Or at least Leane thinks that.

Special guest noises courtesy of Marvel chomping on a bone and Leane yawning too often cause it was late.
It's Monday and this Friday Happy Hour chat is just going live from the Bachelor Nation Newbies and no one is entirely sure why except for the general post pandemic time warp that is happening all around the land! The Newbies sit down during Friday Happy Hour for a lively chat about their most favorite Bachelorette season yet! In a new streamlined format the Newbies dive in and discuss:
How to focus on reasons not excuses when it comes to less than ideal behavior from men; why Leane is a semi-feminist because she just can't seem to shake the "accommodation" vibe that women of a certain age tend to do more than others; how Claire is learning to ask her boyfriend what she needs and how that actually does work!; how much the Newbies love the spoken word and then Phoebe shows off her poetry skillz - go in poet!; how much the Newbies don't love making people run around naked; and a host of other topics.
Special guest appearances by Marvel the Husky, Tommy the brother and happy almost weekend vibes that hopefully kick off the week right!

In this Saturday afternoon edition of Michelle's Love Journey, the Newbies express their enthusiasm for bad-ass Michelle's love mission and think that green-eyed Joe may very well be the one for her. In this high energy weekend chat, the Newbies discuss Halloween costumes; the benefit of place mats that you can wipe down; how the joy and heartbreak of life are two sides of the same coin; how much they love Rodney's apple problems; how to spell entrepreneur; and how come no one will leave Pizza Pete alone?
Special guest appearance by Phoebe's significant other, a noisy neighbor and maybe Leane's growling stomach.
Thanks for listening!
Next episode - the Newbies are going to try and streamline the conversation! It's Season 3 so maybe it's time? Let us know in the comments!
