"I'm not an architect, but I wanted to be. I'm not a designer, but I wanted to be. I make do with plastic bricks."
LEGO has been around for a bit, and we got the chance to talk with someone who helped build the LEGO online community! Deborah Higdon is an amazing designer who was a grade school teacher for most of her life. Alongside her drive to keep creativity alive in kids, she kept her imagination going through LEGO! She has been featured in DK's LEGO Ideas Book and worked with LEGO on many other major publications. Her knowledge is unmatched and is just as passionate today about LEGO as she was back when she was a kid. Take a leap into the history of the AFOL community with Deborah and me and see that age, gender, political views, etc. doesn't really matter to staying creative and keep on building!
