Back Chat Show

Jason and Paul sit down and chat about the long and eventful offseason for the Switchbacks. Player movements, USL rebranding, Colorado Rapids partnership, and more. Is it March 9th yet?

Back Chat wraps up the 4th season with special guest, Last Word on Soccer and Back Chat co-founder Mark Turner. The guys try to dig down on what went wrong and why and look at who had a good season and who didn't. They also look forward to the offseason with the retirement of The Original Switchback Luke Vercollone and affiliation with the MLS Colorado Rapids and what that means exactly for the boys in Black & Blue and fans in Colorado Springs.

Paul and Jason lament over the Switchbacks tie with Rio Grande Valley, and what it means for our dwindling playoff hopes. Also, in celebration of International Talk Like A Pirate Day by choosing who gets keelhauled, who walks the plank, and who's been Shanghied.

Paul and Jason have done this dance before. Breathtaking win versus a top team, humiliating loss against an inferior team. Playoffs? Maybe. Probably not. Also, do USL players deserve a living wage? The guys get into the bushes on the state of American lower tier players payscale and living situation.

Jason and Paul take to the airwaves again to talk about a lousy week for the Boys in Black & Blue. A 2-1 loss to Tulsa, followed by a 4-0 trouncing by Phoenix left the Switchbacks hopes of playoffs dangling by the thinnest of string. In addition to game coverage (including yet another atrocious red card by a USL official) the guys look ahead and speculate what a SFC 2019 roster will look like.

Switchbacks President Nick Ragain talks with Jason about the newly announced downtown stadium and what fans can look forward to in 2020

Jason and Paul are back and this time, we have a good showing to talk about, with the Switchbacks win over OKC, 2-0. The playoffs are once again tantalizingly close, and if there was a time to right the ship, this is surely it.
