This week I have a candid conversation with two elementary school moms, Charity Aughinbaugh and Catherine Crudup, that discuss the choice of returning children back to school safely. Our school system is about more than educating children. School provides social, emotional, and physical development. It is a safe haven for some that is absolutely essential for providing safety and security. An enormous number of children depend on free and reduced meals and thousands of homeless children whose whereabouts are monitored only through our school systems.
