  • Author Assistant, Kate Tilton #k8chat
Since 2010, author assistant Kate Tilton assisted authors in reaching readers and helped readers connect with authors (and each other). The publishing world is a community of those who love reading. Authors need readers like readers need authors and Kate has made it her mission to connect the two.
On the blog you will find access to Kate Tilton’s Book Bloggers which is a group of bloggers (authors & readers) who work together to promote reading while also developing connections with other readers.
On Twitter you will find the weekly #K8chat, the first chat designed for both authors and readers with weekly topics both groups can enjoy together. And now you can continue the conversation on the #k8chat forums, open 24/7.

  • New Adult author, Ryan Attard, joins Kori on the Back Porch
Ryan Attard had one thing that distinguished him from the rest of his fan-fiction writing circle of friends: No matter how hard he tried, he would always throw an original character and a unique plot twist that would drive his hardcore geeky friends up a wall.
It wasn’t long until Ryan found himself writing about the things he loved; magic, pissed off wizards, supernatural creatures, epic battles and all round badassery. Add to this a blend of satire, sarcasm, humour at the cost of the protagonist and a semi-original view point of the world of magic and mysticism in the 21th century and one can see the inner workings of this author’s mind at work.
Nowadays Ryan divides his time between attempting to live a normal student life, writing the second book of the Legacy series as well as for other projects and ruling over his imaginative worlds as a malicious god.
So far only Firstborn and Birthright, books 1 & 2 respectively are available.
Stalk Ryan on Twitter, Facebook, or by emailing him at [email protected].
