In this episode of Back to Me, we dive into our stories of travel disasters (spoiler: Katie hates traveling), how she managed to lock poor producer Billy out of the house (awkward) and the power of stepping out of your comfort zone — according to Lisa, that’s where all the good stuff is hiding. We also talk about "the 99th email" and get into a very serious debate over whether Davina McCall actually replied to one of Lisa’s comments…
Expect laughter, bickering and the kind of unfiltered waffle you didn’t know you needed.
Lisa has officially peaked – Joss Stone followed her on Instagram. Yes, really. No, she hasn’t shut up about it. No we can't blame her (heart eyes emoji!) We also dive into the age-old debate: can you love the art but hate the artist? (Spoiler: it’s complicated). And we reveal our alter ego names – because obviously we’d be iconic even in an alternate universe.
In this week’s episode, we’re talking journaling habits, the emotional rollercoaster that is Adolescence on Netflix, meditation, spitting, showering, Thai massages... oh the list is endless.
Katie also confidently introduces it as episode 8, which… it isn’t. But we let her have her moment.
Episode 8 is here and naturally, we’re talking about… the number 8. Because that’s obviously what everyone was waiting for. Lisa celebrates her anniversary (aww), we break down the unspoken rules of society (no, you should not answer the phone at the restaurant table) and, of course, we couldn’t get through an episode without a deep and completely necessary discussion on life coaching. Life-changing stuff (probably is really).
In this episode, we dive into the world of self-tanning, the things we were told as kids that still mess with us today and Lisa's review of the new Bridget Jones’s Diary. From streaky legs to childhood beliefs that have no business following us into adulthood, we’re unpacking it all - well we're at least half unpacking it then getting distracted.
In this episode, we completely forget what our podcast is actually about and dive into reviewing movies, books and concerts like it’s our job (It’s not). Meanwhile, Lisa sneaks in some life coaching wisdom about why sweating the small stuff actually matters - join in on our game of Good Advice Bad Advice.
As you may know by now - expect questionable takes, unsolicited opinions and the usual chaos.
This week we cover all the essentials: sweat, longevity and personal upkeep. Katie experiences a personal climate crisis, Lisa gets deep into the world of body maintenance and we celebrate the true legend - Katie’s granny - turning 96! Basically, it’s an episode of endurance, wisdom and unfortunately, perspiration.
In this episode, we explored attachment styles (because self-awareness is so on brand for (one of) us), upgraded our setup with matching mics like real pros and - most importantly - heard how Lisa confidently renamed ‘photo bomb’ to ‘photo boom.’ Naturally, Katie handled this with grace (she did not). We also learned that Lisa definitely doesn’t leave her crystals outside to charge under the full moon.
Is the full moon really making us crazy, or is it just Katie? In this episode, we dive into lunar chaos, parenting life and the mystical world of angel numbers—though Katie remains highly skeptical. Expect laughter, sarcasm and a few questionable life insights.
Is Facebook secretly listening to your conversations? We dive into the age-old conspiracy (and our totally unscientific evidence). Plus, in today’s life coaching "segment", Lisa tries to inspire… until Katie bursts that bubble 🫠
Hit play for laughs, unfiltered opinions and the usual chaos of unfinished stories. Don’t forget to subscribe and tell us - do you think Facebook is spying on you? 👀

Hosted by two good friends who love a laugh, a bit of craic and plenty of sarcasm - Back to Me is the podcast where no topic is off-limits - except maybe letting each other finish their story.…
If you love brutally honest conversations, witty banter and a podcast that doesn’t take itself too seriously, you’re in the right place.
