Kelly goes home! But not to Casa Walsh, to the Beach Apartment. Also at the Beach Apartment is David’s new butt rock band (don’t worry, Mary will tell you all about it), his new business venture. Donna also has a new business venture, but she soon learns that her prospective partner/boss has some undesirable business practices. And she and Val throw a party for a rich young man named Cooper Hargrove.

Kelly still has amnesia so her doctor and Brandon want to bombard her with memories but the gang is too busy to help. Steve gets a defunct newspaper from his father, Donna has to find a dog, David has to find a band, and all of that leaves a window of opportunity for Val and Noah to step in. Val tells Kelly not to believe everything she hears about her relationship, and Noah brings her a duffel bag of CDs and her favorite childhood teddy bear. So much for helping Kelly remember her friends and family.

This week we’re picking up right where we left off and Kelly is in the hospital recovering from the drive by shooting. The gang tries to get back to their lives in Beverly Hills while Kelly is recovering - Steve sees Carly again and brings her into the show, and tries to make up a career for himself, Donna tells her mom about her and David, and Noah forgets that he can’t sleep with Val. Kelly’s recovery doesn’t go well though when she has emergency surgery and forgets everyone and everything.

The gang’s moving on to another phase in their lives so we get a two-parter with a trip to Hawaii! Donna gets a new job and everyone but Kelly wants to go with her. Donna has a terrible first week(?) of work, we meet Noah Hunter, and Steve gets a sunburn. However, when Brandon runs into Tracy in Hawaii, Kelly races there to confront the two of them. Everything works out in the end, up until it really doesn’t. This isn’t your mom’s Beverly Hills 90210.

The gang is taking their last finals of college before we graduate to the real world, so it’s time to talk about adulthood. Rush tells Steve he’s cut off and he can’t just have a job at Rush’s office. David wants Donna to move in with him and gets upset when she still needs to graduate college. Arnold’s admin tells Clare he’s moving to Paris, and she’s invited. Kelly learns that she may have fertility issues and doesn’t know how that will affect her relationship with Brandon. And Val gets Maloned.
