In the movie, a high-school guidance counselor in south Florida is accused of rape by two female students but there are a series of subsequent revelations that make things not appear as they seem. It was a first time watch for Jackson while Gaius saw the films in theaters when it was irst released so they share their experience with the film while examining its many twists, performances, reception at the time of its release and its relevancy today.

The duo looks into the film’s themes, imagery, performance and its polarizing response as something that can be viewed as objectifying to women while other view the film as a showcase of female empowerment.
