This week we have a WORKOUT, heading to the track. it's full on too as it is 12 x 400m or 90s whichever comes first, with 60s rest in between each rep and you can run along with me as if I am there with you.


In the previous episode where we chatted about consistency with Josh Griffiths, we talked about how making sure every run and every session has a purpose creates the conditions for consistency to come more easily so today we are living that. The purpose of the session is to push your aerobic system, get you out of your comfort zone and in my case lay some demons from last weekend's cross-country race to rest (I had a bad race, I was annoyed, it happens though and we move on!)


We have a pre-amble discussing British elite marathon performances, my own abject performance at Wormwood Scrubs and blue (or not so blue) monday.


Warm up starts at about 11 minutes

Main set starts at 21 minutes
