Alley Boy candidly spoke about his involvement in drug dealing and addiction, including his struggles with codine cough syrup and the subsequent damage it caused to his kidneys, revealing his allergy to opiates.

He also regaled the audience with stories of his early passion for rap music, starting at the tender age of nine and honing his craft by learning how to format a song. Alley Boy then recounted the genesis of the record label Duct Tape Entertainment, highlighting his role as the first flagship artist. He candidly addressed the pressure he faced to become a superstar, acknowledging the challenges and sacrifices he made along the way.

The conversation took a dramatic turn as Alley Boy spoke about his involvement in an armed robbery and murder charge at the age of 18. He then shared a heartwarming story of meeting Gucci Mane at the age of 17, describing a friendship that has endured to this day. Alley Boy also spoke about his mentorship under Big Bank Black, taking on a leadership role in his early career.

The conversation continued with Alley Boy reflecting on the day he signed with Atlantic Records, expressing regret for not choosing Def Jam Records. He candidly discussed his dissatisfaction with the promotion he received from Atlantic Records, feeling that they didn’t fully support his artistic vision.
