In our previous episode on this topic, we explored the various ways experience, reasoning, & tradition/religion impact the way we read the word. In this episode Cass more looks into the WHY/HOW & WHAT NEXT to sorting out the bad theology to the good. Why is ‘bad theology hurtful?’ Ultimately, it damages our view of God & our relationship with him. Cass gets personal, sharing three main theological views she took on and how God, through time, community, and most importantly Scripture, has pulled her out of those damaging beliefs. Leading you through Matthew 7 you will see Jesus warning on false teachers and the subtle errors out there and how to practically discern what is good and true and how to move forward in pursuing solid teaching.  A lifelong journey for sure, but always a good check-in!
