Our show begins with a cursory discussion on the new BAFTA voting procedures and how for most categories, they opted for juries instead of widespread branch voting. Then we begin the nom conversations with the Director categories at both the DGA and the BAFTAs.

From there, we do focus on the BAFTAs, and yes, there’s a lot of fun nominations in here to celebrate and enjoy and seek out to view after these noms. But there’s also a lot of weird inside jokes to make about our Mike and Mike movie takes, and we would not be who we are without overindulging in said jokes.

As for the format though, we do go category by category and discuss all of the BAFTA noms with eyes forward to the Oscars. Which noms and snubs will affect the Oscar Noms? Which surprises could potentially impact the eventual Oscar races? We break it all down in this thorough overview.
