June 12 Balance Selections 374: Rolasoul
Simon James and Adam Helal are the duo behind Rolasoul. Releasing music on labels including Plastic Fantastic and District, they write and produce from their studio at Tileyard in London.
Combining their individual influences and experience behind the decks, Rolasoul's productions blend a classic groove with dynamic energy. Their partnership is built on a shared love of electronic music and a natural creative chemistry that has developed over years of working together.
Through an extensive touring history and a growing catalogue of releases, the Rolasoul sound has stayed focused on what matters most: making music they believe in.
On this Balance Selections mix, Rolasoul showcase exactly what that believe is: deep, dense progressive. Featuring tracks from Kasey Taylor & Stereo Underground, Fordal, Elliot Moriarty and more, this 90-minute journey is packed with energetic dance.

May 29 Balance Selections 372: Raw Main
Part of a rising generation pushing melodic and organic house into new territory, a Raw Main production is identifiable through hypnotic percussion, detailed sound design and an instinct for atmosphere that feels equally suited to headphones and dancefloors alike. In recent years, he’s built an impressive catalogue with releases landing on Lost Miracle and All Day I Dream, home to his most recent release.
With continued support from respected selectors including Sébastien Léger, Bedouin, Lee Burridge and Roy Rosenfeld, Raw Main has quietly established himself as one of the more intriguing names emerging from the melodic underground today.
On this Balance Selections mix, the French artist threads together organic textures, hypnotic grooves and luminous melodic fragments into a fluid journey through the deeper end of melodic house. Featuring music from Lost Desert, Kebin van Reeken and Jonas Rathsman, it’s an energetic hour of energetic melodic house.

May 29 [PREVIEW] D-Nox, André Moret - Different Worlds (Original Mix)
A strutting bassline powers ‘Different Worlds’, while searing keys burst around it like sparks in the dark. The arrival of a soaring synth injects a deeper emotional pull into the track, lifting its already vibrant energy into something more cinematic. After a tension-laden breakdown, the release lands with the kind of satisfying drop that feels lifted from science fiction.

May 29 [PREVIEW] D-Nox & André Moret - I Love a Robot (Kasey Taylor & Shoges remix)
Kasey Taylor and Shoges join forces on a rework that transforms love into full-blown obsession. Deeper, darker and far more mysterious, the track locks into a hypnotic groove driven by a rubber-band bassline that twists like a mathematical equation refusing resolution. Waves of FX build, dissolve and distort, creating a dizzying sense of tension that pulls you deeper into its emotional web. If you’re looking to take the dancefloor somewhere deeper, look no further.

May 29 [PREVIEW] D-Nox & André Moret - I Love a Robot (Original Mix)
With a melodic movement that’s straight form the depths of human emotion, ‘I Love a Robot’ tugs at the humanity within. With lovely synths and chorals stabs, there is something familiar about this that feels comforting. Once a vocal appears commenting that ‘Bright lights bring us together, feels like we’ve got a connection’ it's hard to resist. This is dance music with soul which wear its heart on its silk embroidered sleeve - music for moments of depth.

May 22 Balance Selections 371: Mariano Montori
Now based in Barcelona after emerging from Argentina’s progressive underground, Mariano Montori crafts music with patience and control, favouring subtle melodic interplay and slow-burning tension over obvious peaks.
Across releases for labels including The Soundgarden and Univack, he builds tracks that move with precision, balancing atmosphere with a strong sense of dancefloor momentum.
From clubs and festivals across Europe and Latin America to appearances in Mexico, Peru, Colombia and Pakistan, Montori continues to refine a sound grounded in emotional storytelling and deep, transportive energy, both in the studio and behind the decks.
