BAM Comic Book Podcast

Neil and Stu are back after a summer vacation. This issue was recorded on the 100th birthday of Jack Kirby, so is the perfect excuse to look at what Marvel and DC have published to mark the legendary creator's centennial. Also discussed is the Batman & Harley Quinn animated movie - fitting tribute for Harley's 25th birthday or a killing joke without a punchline?

As always, Like, Review and Subscribe to BAM.

Neil, Stu and Carly discuss their hot takes on San Diego Comic Con 2017. The gang discuss (deep breath) Justice League, Thor: Ragnarok, Inhumans, Captain Marvel, Ant Man & The Wasp, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, Gears of War, Arkham Asylum 2, Pacific Rim Uprising, LEGION, Dr. Doom - The Movie, The Walking Dead and more!

Stu is joined by special guests Lucy (Gamespot) James and Gillen (Spider-Fan) McAllister to review the third big screen take on Spider-Man. Expect split opinions on Spidey's return to the MCU fold as well as a few nerdy revelations that you might have missed. It goes without saying that this one is spoiler-heavy, webheads.

Neil and Stu lose the plot without Carly's guidance and mistakenly declare that Burt Ward has died. Also hear our first-hand LA experiences, from the Adam West memorial, a whistlestop tour of Meltdown Comics and Legacy Comics & Cards, a tour of Warner Bros. Studios and mixed emotions at Disneyland for a ride on Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: Breakout! Oh, and we review some comic books too.

In this bumper episode (that somehow works in incest and shark porn), Neil, Stu and Carly discuss whether Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 was too nerdy, why getting whiplash watching Alien Covenant was a good thing, and how Injustice 2 has made Gorilla Grodd a viable marketing asset. Plus you get some comic book reviews and our take on Free Comic Book Day '17. As always, like, review and subscribe to the show for more of this stupidity.
