Today we are talking with Lavender moon! The host of herbal witchery podcast and owner of lavender moon enchanted herbal tea. Her English literature background set the stage for an exciting history of herbs and how they are associated with different energetic properties; chamomile, thyme, mugwort, and Lavender, just to name a few! We enjoyed discussing these herbs and how we are all connected to the past through them. Lavender moon enjoys Tarot reading in her free time, and we discuss the introspection one can achieve through tarot reading daily!

On today’s episode we discuss the “basics”. Starting off on the right foot for the new year and herbal energetics. Herbal terminology is vast, but one term you will hear often is “energetics.” Energetics has a threefold meaning in herbalism, describing the energetic properties of an herb as it acts on the body, the energetic qualities of a condition or imbalance, and the energetics of a person, also sometimes referred to as their constitution.
