Do you have time for 9 minutes? Here is a Medley of 5 traditional tunes:

Cooleys Reel, Anthony Payne of Stratton, Silver Spear, Cuckous Nest and Harvest Home. Me on banjo 1, I on banjo 2, Myself on fiddle 1 and Manuel on fiddle 2. I wanted to imitate some Bodhran sounds so I used a droning triplet picking pattern in the backup banjo. Picked on the HUBER BANJO.

Not exactly like Tom Adams plays it. I had to change some fingering to make it easier for me to learn it. I have always wanted to learn this tune so I've been working on it now for about a week. I put a guitar and bass track in it to hide my goof ups.

Just a tune I wrote killing time oneday.

I think this is in jig time- it feels like it, anyway. I thought I'd try to write a jig after hearing Bela do one. I originally called the tune 'The Rose of O'Neil', but as it developed, it started sounding more like an Irish war chant than a delicate little thing... hence the name. It could be taken both ways.

I posted this in response to someone looking for an easy, Scruggs-style version of the tune. (It was tab they were looking for, but I don't have any tab for this tune, so I posted an audio.)

Some folks don't like to capo up to 7, but in this case, I don't think it sounds too high. It's just a simple, straight rendition of the tune.

My wife, Lynn, is on bass and I'm on banjo and guitar.
