The Lagos Zonal Directorate 1 of the EFCC, on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, again arraigned a social media influencer and self-acclaimed relationship therapist, Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, also known as Blessing CEO, for an alleged N69,150,000 (Sixty-Nine Million, One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira) fraud. 

According to the EFCC, Blessing CEO allegedly obtained N69.15 million from Hope Chiropractic Health Clinic Limited by falsely claiming ownership of a property located at No. 1 Tunbosun Osobu Street, Lekki, which she purportedly leased to the company for five years.

The commission also accused her of dishonestly converting the sum to her personal use.

Ghana has announced it will evacuate 300 of its citizens from South Africa, following a spate of xenophobic incidents and protests against immigration across the country in recent weeks. 

Ghana's Foreign Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa said on Tuesday that President John Dramani Mahama had approved the operation.

The decision comes after a series of anti-immigration protests in South Africa, as well as claims of assaults and intimidation against other African nationals across the country in recent weeks.

Nigeria and Ghana have both voiced concern over the situation.

The South African government, however, has rejected all claims of xenophobia.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arraigned social media influencer and self-styled relationship therapist, Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, popularly known as Blessing CEO, before the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos.

She was arraigned before Justice Deinde Dipeolu on a two-count charge bordering on obtaining N36 million by false pretence and stealing.

According to the EFCC, the alleged offences involve the sum of N36,000,000, said to have been fraudulently obtained from one Mrs. Ifeyinwa Nonye Okoye under the guise of leasing a six-bedroom detached duplex in Lekki, Lagos.

At the commencement of proceedings, defence counsel, P.I. Nwafor, informed the court that his client had made a partial refund of N24 million to the nominal complainant.
