The City Boys Movement and the Village Boys Movement are rival political youth mobilisations in Nigeria, primarily active ahead of the 2027 general elections. 

They represent two contrasting styles of political engagement, branding, and vision for the country's leadership

City Boys Movement

• Affiliation: Linked to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and specifically supports the re-election of President Bola Tinubu.
• Origins: Associated with Seyi Tinubu, the President's son, and promoted by high-profile figures like Obi Cubana.

Village Boys Movement

• Affiliation: An offshoot of the "Obidient" movement, supporting Peter Obi (former Anambra State Governor) and the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
• Origins: Launched in February 2026 by convener Maazị Tochukwu Ezeoke (who calls himself the "Village Headmaster") as a direct counter to the City Boys.

According to Arukwe, he was careful and respectful while filming love scenes with Bambam because he was aware that she is married.

Prime Care Hospitals has firmly denied social media reports alleging that popular content creator Mukoro Mitchelle, known as King Mitchy, died at its Abuja facility after allegedly ingesting a harmful substance.

In an official statement posted on its Instagram page on Saturday morning, the hospital management described the claims as “FALSE” and clarified that King Mitchy was never admitted to the facility, nor did she pass away there.

The genesis of the meltdown was Mitchy calling out activist, VeryDarkMan after she purportedly renovated a school in Delta State within six (6) days. In the callout, she urged the activist to be open and straightforward with the activities of his NGO. 

This didn’t go down well with VeryDarkMan and it quickly degenerated into other allegations and name calling.

Nigerian social media influencers VeryDarkMan (Martins Vincent Otse) and King Mitchy are currently embroiled in a high-profile online feud centered on their respective humanitarian efforts and non-governmental organisations (NGOs).

VDM claimed that Seyi Tinubu has been the secret financier behind King Mitchy’s lifestyle and humanitarian projects since 2023.

While Seyi Tinubu has not directly addressed every allegation, he recently posted a song snippet online that many Nigerians believe was a subtle reaction to the escalating drama.

VDM then responded saying:

"A thr3@t to my life have been issued…if anything should happen to me and my close ones hold @seyitinubu and michyy responsible. This is not a joke ,I DONT FEEL SAFE, seyi tinubu has the power and connections, I don't feel safe"

This drama is not ending any time soon.
