Baqash: Exploring the Old Testament

Scott won't share his name, video games can be compared to Ezekiel, and judgment is coming. All in all, fun episode!

Don has allergies, Scott thinks it is something worse. Ezekiel gets a haircut.

Don and Scott have not been to jail. And Ezekiel is about to get really skinny.

Enjoy our latest episode and thanks for listening.

Today we have a shorter episode, but it is still packed with all the fun of becoming a future prop-prophet.

We cover a lot of ground while discussing some of those tasty, tasty scrolls.

We start with Dora the Explorer, discuss chapter one, and end with the Lord's Prayer. If you want to skip the Dora part, start the pod at 9:28 to get to the good stuff.

We are happy to (finally) start a new book. In this episode, we give background on the book and some resources. We are really excited to share what we learn with you. As always, thanks for listening.

Repentance leads to refreshing. Today we are examining Joel and what repenting looks like and what that eschatological passage really means.

Don has a sinus infection. Scott says it's COVID. All this while they discuss the spiritual and physical battles in the Ancient Near East. Or, as we like to say, just another episode.

Eviction notices, the book of Job, and finally, a discussion of lament.  Thanks, as always, for listening. Enjoy our latest!
