Welcome to the Book of Joel! We start this new year and (short) book off by talking a bit about the history of Joel and then diving right in.
As always, thanks for listening. Feel free to leave comments, feedback, etc.!
WE MADE IT! Hosea is a wrap. Sure, we talk about WW1 and WW2 at the start, but don't worry, we finish up the book. Our next book is Joel, and it is a short one. So get caught up, breeze through Joel, and then we have a real treat for you guys!
As always, thanks for listening.
Please note, some words used here, while biblical, might not be suitable for those who are sensitive to harsher language or younger listeners.
We are approaching the end of the book. This is the second to last episode before we move onto the book of Joel.
Scott and Don discuss video games for like 9 minutes. So you can skip that if ya want. Then they get into the charges levied against Israel by God. We are getting near the end of Hosea with just a few episodes before we jump into Joel. Oops, was that a spoiler?
Android or Apple? Not nearly as important, but of course we talk about it. We also discuss chapter 11 which shows the ways God brought up Israel like a son, yet Israel still turns their back on God. As always, thanks for listening as we near the end of Hosea.
Get past the banter and start this episode at the 8-minute mark.
Today we examine what happens when you use the blessings of God to rebel against him. Of course, that seems to be every day for Israel.

The guys are back together recording for the first time since March. The good news is, you all did not miss a beat. And neither did Don and Scott. Actually, you can be the judge of that.
In this episode, we talk about how Israel sins and look at how their sin does not go unpunished. Enjoy!
The banter is strong with this one. To bypass it, go to the 10:15 mark.
Just a heads up, there are some biblical words used in this episode that might not be appropriate for younger audiences.
Don't let the title fool you. This is mostly all chapter 7. There is a great deal of symbolism which leads to really fun discussions. We really get to examine some of the difficulty in working through Hosea.
This one almost did not make it due to audio corruption issues with the original .wav file. If there are any issues, please let us know so we can fix them ASAP. Otherwise, please note: There is no banter to start this episode. We are sorry. But do not worry, we will try not to let it happen again.
