Our adventurers journeyed deep within the rat-infested mine of the Lifeless Sea, finally encountering a massive crystal trapped within the corpse of the rat-Queen. One by one they communed with the crystal and were met with a vision of Ünen. Now linked by something unexplainable, our Copper Legion examinees must journey back to Spearhold keep before sundown.

When last we left our adventurers; Bubbles, Synnove, Aelys, Sal, and JB have been given their first task in their entrance exam for the Copper Legion; Journey through the Lifeless Sea, reclaim a mine overrun by Rats, and return by the next sundown. Sal has come up with a plan to create a sandfoil to traverse the desert at exquisite speeds. With the acquisition of the necessary wood from a derelict temple, and after an unfortunate altercation on the beach, how will our examinees fair as the sun sets?

The Nightmare Krew has made their way to the coronation of the new Cordian Empress, only for Tatsu Valtameri intervene. They fell right into the Sage's plans, and became a terrifying Oizys, an avatar of sorrow and grief. And as the senators rush out of the hall, and Sage Lucien attempts to make one final ploy, the last domino in a long journey begins to fall...

The Nightmare Krew committed the first and cardinal sin of adventuring: they split the party. The Royal Heirs travelled to meet Empress Stefana LaFleur at the High City bathhouse, while the rest of the Krew assumed the mantle of gardeners to keep watch outside. After a series of emotional and unfortunate revelations, the game is now afoot. The Coronation of the Empress is mere moments away, and the Krew holds a tenuous plan to trick and stop the Sage from creating an Avatar of Grief to control the realm. Nothing is certain, save for the fact that the Krew stands on a precipice, and have no choice but to take a leap into the dark...
