  • Ep 20: Still Wandering w/ Dalton Wright
Lo-Fi hip hop guru, excellent guitar player, and all-around genuine gentleman Dalton Wright was on the episode this week. Dalton shares his insight into his creative process when writing music and some of the struggles he went through when he first began going down this path creatively. We also get into his past, and Dalton shares some brilliant wisdom towards the end of the episode about his thoughts on family, happiness, and marriage. He is a multi-faceted individual who continues to chase his passions wherever that may lead him. Dalton is a humble down to earth guy, and I hope you enjoy everything he has to say inside of this episode. Below are the links to his music, please show him some love and let him know what you think!

  • Ep 19: Not Your Typical Black Guy w/ Raymond Pierce
Artist extraordinaire Raymond Pierce was on the show this week to share who he is and his outlook on life. "There are twenty-four hours in a day. If you aren't using at least one of those hours to pursue your passion, you are wasting time." Ray can be found at local art shows and concerts selling his merchandise. If you would like to reach out to Ray and want him to paint something specific reach out to him at his website below.

  • Ep 18: Perpetual Lightning Round w/ Jay and Jacob
This weeks episode has my friends Jacob Pierce and Jay *insert a funny-sounding word after Jay here* on the show and it was a hilarious time. There was a slew of topics covered and there was no shortage of laughter. Quick series of questions. Who puts mayo in their noodles, and makes a sandwich out of it? Who was the greatest NBA player of all time? How many licks does it take until you get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop? How does one spell c-o-c-a-i-n-e correctly? When does brunch actually start? At a loss for words? Welcome to the show!

  • Ep 17: 10 Kids?!? w/ Misty Weeks
On this week's episode of Barely Qualified, we have my friend Misty Weeks. We took a deep dive into her past and we spoke about the things that she holds important to her. Relationships, religion, and abortion were among the topics of discussion, and it was awesome having her on to hear her opinion on said topics. This episode was originally recorded in May, so some of the references to Avengers and such may be a little outdated. Also, SPOILERS for Avengers Endgame if you have yet to see it. Jump in and listen to all of our tomfooleries!!!

  • Ep 16: E3 Wrap Up! EA and Microsoft
The Electronic Entertainment Expo!!! Was it exciting? Did they do enough to keep gamers intrigued? Do you have no idea what I am talking about? E3 had a very lackluster showing this year. There is so much potential to blow the industry and gamers away with announcements and reveals, but overall it just left a sour taste in our mouths. It seems the industry as a whole is gearing up for the next generation of consoles, and this is why 2019 has felt like such a "meh" year. Listen to our hot takes from the EA and Microsoft conferences!

  • Ep 15: Stay In Your Lane w/ Emily Swafford
Technical difficulties be damned! Probably much like our souls. What does STD's, abortion, religion and Sarah Bareilles all have in common? We talked about them inside of this episode! Emily was a fantastic guest and gave her hot takes on religion and relationships. The episode was cut short however due to technical difficulties and one of us taking time out to go and see Avengers Endgame. Enjoy Emily and myself as we dive into Christianity's history, as well as some other issues along the way. I might even have an awesome analogy or two inside of this episode.

  • Ep 14: 50 Shades of What? w/ Trenden Padgett
This is an episode with a friend who I have had for a long time, who when speaking about his emotions is about as open as any Waffle House in existence. He brings charm, wit, and a whole lot of stories with him to wow/annoy/confuse?/ and amaze you. So if you are interested in hearing about two individuals speak about how childish they are, or how deep and existential they can be, or whether or not you should use lambskin condoms, then look no further. This episode is definitely for you.

  • Ep 13: Threesome? Yessum! w/ Mystery Guest
Is watching porn without your partner considered cheating? Does going to a strip club also fall into that category? We dive into those questions and more with this weeks episode. Our previous guest Jenna comes back for a non corrupt episode this week, as well as a mystery guest who requested to not be named or put into any promotional material due to the controversial nature of the discussion. (By controversial, we mean very tame by Barely Qualified standards.) Other topics discussed, were strippers, weird uses for car wash vaccuum cleaners, a better allocation of funds from the federal government, and much, much more.

  • Ep 12.5: The Best Episode That Never Happened w/Jenna
If there has ever been a moment in your life where you worked hard on something, like writing a beautiful poem, wrapping a present that was very difficult to wrap, or baking something that took hours to prepare, only to have that destroyed by forces outside of your control, then you will be well prepared for this half episode. This most recent episode of the show is only thirty minutes long. Now while some of you rejoice in how short this is, it was not meant intentionally. The file was corrupted while it was saving to the computer. So a very heartfelt, and an eye-opening episode was mitigated down to a few minutes. Since then, we have not had the same sort of issues, but it is a little disheartening to have something that I deemed personally as great, to be destroyed by forces out of our control.
