The Baseball Barista with Hunter Pence & Grant Brisbee are back with another hot cup of baseball takes. They are going to talk about some players that are putting up crazy stats so far this season & the art of picking the right walk-up music. Vlad Jr is leading MLB in 2 of 3 of the main categories for the Triple Crown in baseball. He had a great offseason workout plan and it's showing so far this season. He is a much different player then his dad was. Zach Wheeler of the Phillies is putting up some amazing numbers this season and has really come into his own. Jacob deGrom is just putting up some absurd numbers so far this season. Hunter talks about if there is any keys to trying to have success vs deGrom. Hunter talks about some pitchers that were tough on him when he was playing and how the Giants pitching staff from 2010-2014 was really nasty and needs more credit. They talk about the art of picking the right walk-up song or entrance music for a closer. Everyone does it different and Hunter has some great stories of how some players went about picking their walk up music. And they talk about the health benefits of drinking coffee
