Basketball Conference: The ACC Football Podcast

And just like that we are on to Week Two. If anything...we'll learn a LOT more about Clemson when they host the Auburn Tigers in Death Valley on Saturday night. We preview that match-up as well as the others, and give our ACC picks of the week.

It was a rough Week 1 in the ACC, as Player of the Year candidate Deondre Francois was lost for the season, several out-of-conference games were lost (or went poorly), and there was also Virginia Tech's huge, fun win over West Virginia on Sunday night. We cover all of that and more, and also give out 2017's inaugural Brian VanGorder Memorial "You Tried!" Award as well as the first #goacc Moment of the Week in our official Week 1 Recap podcast!

FOOTBALL IS BACK! We're previewing all of the ACC's Week 1 action, including...

--Can FSU make a statement right out of the gate and slay the beast known as Alabama?

--We're not entirely sure who has the Black Diamond Trophy now, but someone's going to win it on Sunday. Will it be Virginia Tech?

--Georgia Tech takes on Tennessee in a game that nobody has any idea what to make of it.

--Who's most likely to lose a game they're not supposed to this weekend, and why is it Virginia?

PLUS, ACC Picks of the Week make their triumphant return, as Joey continues his latest streak of bold picks. How could this possibly go wrong?

After individually previewing every team in the conference and collecting a ton of great insights from various contributors, it's time to take a look at the conference as a whole and make our final selections. Who's winning each division? Will the conference have a College Football Playoff representative? Has Joey completely lost his marbles with his ACC POY selection?

We got together with former Georgia Tech A-Back Roddy Jones, now of ESPN, to preview the conference as a whole in 2017! We discuss large-scale storylines, the lack of hype around Lamar Jackson, Roddy gives his picks to win the divisions and the conference, and of course he gave us a hilarious Paul Johnson story. This conversation was incredibly fun and Roddy gave us a lot of great insights. Check it out!

The Florida State Seminoles are the preseason favorites to win the ACC. Is the hype warranted with the defending national champions in the same division? We discuss that and more in our Florida State Season Preview.

It is time to breakdown the defending National Champion Clemson Tigers heading into the 2017 football season. Despite retooling the offense, this team will be a serious player once again in the Atlantic Division under Dabo Swinney.

Jeff Greenberg of InsideTheACC and GoHeels.com joins the podcast to help us preview the North Carolina Tar Heels. It seems to be a reset year for Larry Fedora and his club on offense, but can the defense carry them back into ACC Coastal contention?

It has come time to preview the Fighting Eric Dungeys. That's right, it's our 2017 Syracuse Orange Season Preview with John Cassillo of Nunes Magician on the SB Nation network. How close is Dino Babers to turning this program around?

After lighting the college football world on fire through their first 10 games of the 2016 season, the Cardinals stumbled across the finish line with 3 straight losses and a Heisman Trophy winner who's gotten less hype than any other returning winner in recent memory. With a new OL Coach and Defensive Coordinator, can Louisville come back and finish the job in 2017?
