The best conversations about the Guardians from The Ken Carman Show with Anthony Lima, Baskin & Phelps, and The Afternoon Drive during the week of Feb. 24-28. This week, the discussion was largely about reacting to the passing of 94-year-old Guardians owner Larry Dolan. Lima and Tom Withers (filling in for Ken this week) say Dolan's legacy was building a team that was perennially competitive despite falling short of a World Series title. They also wonder who will take over control of the franchise, or if it will be sold. Guardians SVP Bob DiBiasio joins Baskin & Phelps, and says Dolan was a consummate gentleman and an excellent owner. Elsewhere, Guardians announcer Matt Underwood discusses Stephen Vogt's second year as manager, and Baskin & Phelps give a status update on the race to claim the starting job at second base.
