To make it all work, the power of the battery has to be utilized in the most efficient manner while extending it as long as possible. However, as with most batteries, which we don't think of, there are safety considerations - voltage, heat, and even chemical production from the use of the batteries.
Metis Engineering has developed a 'different' way of monitoring the health of EV batteries and Joe Holdsworth is joining us to explain why this is necessary and what their solution is.
