Mariella Santucci, a native to Bologna,Italy, has taken after her father, a former professional player. Mariella started playing basketball at a young age. Shortly after hooping for Italy’s national team, she had the opportunity to take her talents to the United States. The message of her story is to not fear the unknown. Her parents said she wouldn’t make it in the states for two reasons...
