s0e07 The Underhanded Digital Pet Rebellion

Today we welcomed our first guest host, our friend Petunio, to discuss... a truly wild piece of Yugioh. The animators had the choice to do a typical Yugioh episode that was inspired by the Tamagotchi craze and instead they swerved hard into some very strange places!

s0e06 "Desperate Situation - Burning Friendship Battle!"

This week's Yugioh episode is a direct sequel to last week, where our friend Shadi returns for a rematch... All of this makes for one of our favorite episodes so far and we will dissect all the weird logistics of these shadow game shenanigans.

- honestly I'm shocked it took us this long to make a casual reference to Duelists of the Roses, but if you haven't heard of it, yes, they did make a Yugioh video game where all the characters participated in the Wars of the Roses in 15th-century England, and no I can't explain it

s0e05 - "Now Revealed! Yugi's Secret"

In this episode, a mysterious man from Egypt arrives with his own magic items and starts to expand the horizons of the series lore. (It's Shadi, his name is Shadi, in this podcast we briefly try to avoid saying it and then completely fail to keep it secret.) We also chat a bit about other anime we've watched lately and learn fun facts about Miho's voice actor.
