A two day strike is underway today as more than 500 dialysis caregivers say labor laws have been broken at dialysis clinics across the state. It's been a rush to the crush for North Bay grape-growers as a cooler than normal growing season has resulted in a late harvest. 

It seems as if the Biden Administration has a change of heart toward Governor Gavin Newsom. The re-election campaign is sending Newsom to the second Republican presidential debate this week in Southern California at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library to lead response efforts. This comes as the Biden administration's latest effort to ease tensions between the two and as the California governor continues to build his national profile. The WGA has reached a tentative agreement with Hollywood studios, which could put an end to the nearly 5-month strike that's sent a shockwave through the entertainment industry.

In a message to members, union leadership says the deal is "Exceptional" and has meaningful gains for all those affected.
