  • Week 7: Redeemed and Adopted

In Galatians 4 we discover life changing truths that not only did Jesus come to buy our freedom and redeem us, he also came so that we could become part of God’s family through adoption. We get to be sons and daughters of God…forever! To be a son or daughter comes with lots of blessings both in this life and in eternity. How does being a son or daughter effect how we live today? Let’s discover together.

  • Week 6: From Prison to Home

One of the purposes of the law is to reveal sin. We know we are sinners by the way we break the law. Although it serves as a guide for how to live, the law itself does not give us life. Instead it points to the fact that we need a savior to redeem us from our sins. Breaking the law condemns us to prison but the Father pays our bail, sets us free, and justifies us. But he doesn’t stop there. Not only are we justified, but we are also adopted into a new family. Join us this Sunday as we dive back into Galatians with a word on how we are set free from the prison and brought home.

  • Week 5: Bewitched

The past few weeks we have been learning about the importance of knowing and believing the good news of the gospel - that the truth of the gospel is found in Jesus and His redemptive work on the cross. In Galatians 3, Paul shares how blessing from the Holy Spirit comes to anyone who believes and hears the good news of the Gospel. But the Judaizers are bewitching them, leaving them blind to the fact that they are missing the heart of the gospel. Join us Sunday as we look at how the cross is the heart of the gospel, and how we can keep that truth at the forefront.

  • Week 4: Heavenly Courtroom

One of the shows Mary Kaye enjoys is America’s Got Talent. As I write, AGT is in the finals. One contestant caught my attention last night: Archie Williams. Archie was incarcerated for 37 years for a crime he did not commit. DNA testing finally exonerated him and he was set free! The human courtroom failed Archie because of the sinfulness of humankind. But God’s heavenly courtroom will not fail. He will judge perfectly. Archie Williams was not guilty and was finally set free. You and I are guilty before God, yet remarkably we can be set free in Jesus in spite of our guilt. That’s grace. Join us this Sunday as we look at God’s heavenly courtroom.

  • Week 3: Set Free From Compromise

Last week we looked at how the gospel is about grace apart from works. It’s about a person: Jesus and His redemptive work on the cross. This is the truth of the gospel! When we compromise the truth of the gospel, we miss out on the freedom we have in Christ and lead others into bondage! It’s sad that many of us aren’t experiencing the freedom the gospel brings. Join us this Sunday as we take a look at how we might be compromising the gospel in our own lives, and how we can take a stand and be set free from that compromise.

  • Week 2: Set Free From the Treadmill

From an early age we are used to receiving affirmation for what we do, so we seek to do, do, do. Seeing this play out in our lives today looks like running on the treadmill: putting in work that doesn’t physically get us anywhere. This is because we are forgetting that “it” has already been done - that the Gospel is not about works but about a person named Jesus and His redemptive work on the cross. Knowing and embracing that the true gospel sets us free from performance based acceptance. Join us this Sunday as we dive back into Galatians and see how the true Gospel can set us free from the treadmill.

  • Week 1: Losing the Heart of God

This week we start our new series on Paul's letter to the Galatians by looking at how the people of Galatia were losing the heart of God because they were not living in line with the Gospel. The first chapter of Galatians, is Paul showing the Galatians how the Gospel is a reflection of the heart of God. We have a tendency to get tripped up in our search for God's heart when we equate His joy to happiness. But when we pursue earthly happiness our hearts don't burn the way they do when we have the good news of the Gospel; when we have true joy. Join us this Sunday as we check in on whether or not we are losing the heart of God.

  • Week 9: Wisdom From Proverbs

We understand that Proverbs instructs us to seek Wisdom. And when we find wisdom, we invite lots of blessing and good into our lives through Jesus. But how exactly do we seek wisdom? And where can we find it? The answers are life-altering, and we need to seek wisdom intentionally. We will look at four ways to do so as seen in Proverbs 8.

  • Weel 8: Wisdom From Proverbs

When we picture Jesus, we tend to think of Him as the Son of God who started His ministry work after He was born at Christmas. But according to Proverbs 8, Jesus was present long before that. Jesus started working before creation, and has been doing so ever since, to draw people like you and me into a saving relationship with Him. Join us this week as we look to Proverbs, not just to seek wisdom, but to seek Jesus.

  • Week 7: Wisdom From Proverbs

Let me state the obvious: we are in challenging financial times. Employment sat at 3.5% in February but today is at 10.2%. 35% of us have lost income due to the pandemic. Our national debt is almost $25 trillion. Uncertainty abounds. You and I need God’s wisdom in these economic times, and Proverbs delivers that wisdom. The answer is counterintuitive, not what you expect, and brings about God’s blessing. Join us this Sunday as we look at how to bring God actively into our finances.
