May Darmon returns for this episode that is light on dialogue and heavy on action/long drawn-out sequences that fill time. One highlight: this episode introduces "Dark Mitch", a black speedo-clad brooding version of Mitch that is just BEGGING for a spinoff. Baywatch didn't know what it had! 

Baywatch gets real lazy with the two-part format by combining two almost entirely-disconnected episodes into one. Part 1: Jimmy Slade and Matt Brody continue to fight over Summer's heart, which accelerates her eating disorder. Mitch gets kidnapped by convicts. Part 2: Stephanie's sister comes to town with her new beau, who is immediately targeted with an assassination attempt. Hobie wins A&W cream soda.

New Season, New Episode! After last week's exhausting viewing of the 2017 Baywatch movie, we're so thankful to be back in the 90s with the crew we know and love. Gayle's getting married, and she wants to take Hobie back to Ohio. Matt's parents are moving to France, and he has to make a choice. Summer's mom takes on a new business endeavor. A kid fakes his own death.

A little something different this week! Returning guest Alex Franklin joins us to talk the 2017 Baywatch movie. We compare it to the show, talk about how it handles the characters we've come to know and love, and whether or not the essence of Baywatch survives the transition from drama to comedy. We didn't love it!
