In an interview with the BBC's Laura Kuenssberg, Conservative Party leader Kemi Badenoch says she was "shocked" by Donald Trump's comments about Greenland - but says now is not the time to discuss a potential deployment of Nato troops.
On Iran, she said she would not have an issue with foreign intervention being used to remove the country's regime.
Meanwhile here in the UK, she also pushed the Conservatives' proposal to ban under-16s from accessing social media, blaming tech companies for "profiting from their anxiety and distraction".

Today, Laura and Paddy speak to Sir Lawrence Freedman, historian, and Professor of War Studies at King's College London, to help us understand what’s happening in Iran, as well as the huge foreign news stories of recent times.
There’s possible regime change in Iran, where protests continue and authorities issued coordinated warnings to protesters. A doctor and medic at two hospitals told the BBC their facilities were overwhelmed with injuries.
Donald Trump has warned the regime not to kill protesters, and after capturing the Venezuelan president, he’s turned his sights to Greenland which he’d like to be in control of.
Plus Russian strikes and blackouts in Ukraine continue. Can you draw a line between all of these things, and is there a helpful way of understanding them?

"Countries have to have ownership and you defend ownership, you don't defend leases. And we'll have to defend Greenland," Trump told reporters on Friday.
The White House said recently the administration is considering buying the semi-autonomous territory of fellow Nato member Denmark, but it would not rule out the option of annexing it by force.

  • Video filmed by ICE agent who shot Minneapolis woman emerges | BBC News
A video filmed by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent who fatally shot Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis on Wednesday has emerged, showing the moments before gunfire rang out.
The footage shows Good sitting behind the wheel of her car and speaking to the officer.
The Trump administration says Good was blocking the road and impeding the work of ICE agents, with Vice President JD Vance saying the agent acted in self-defence. Local officials insisted the woman posed no danger.
Good's wife has paid tribute to the 37-year-old, saying the pair were trying to support their neighbours when she was shot. Her death on Wednesday has sparked protests across the US.

  • What does the fatal ICE shooting mean for US politics? | BBC Americast
Protests have broken out in Minneapolis after a US immigration agent shot dead a 37-year-old woman in the city.
Videos posted on social media show the moment of the shooting, in which ICE agents approach a car in the middle of a residential street. As it attempts to drive off, one of the agents points his gun at the driver and at least two shots are heard.
With the Trump administration characterising the incident as “domestic terrorism”, alleging Renee Good had “harassed” officers all day prior to the shooting, the mayor of Minneapolis has labelled this account “bullshit” and called on immigration officers to get out of the city.
The governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz, is calling for a full investigation but says a fair outcome will be difficult because "people in positions of power" - naming Trump, Vice President JD Vance and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem - have "already passed judgement".
Walz says they've shared information that he says is "verifiably false" and "inaccurate" and made assumptions about Renee Good's character and actions ahead of the shooting.
