Herzlich Wilkommnen zu einer neuen Folge des BBQ Catch-Up! Was könnte der heutige Folgentitel wohl bedeuten und um was "dreht" es sich hier genau? Hilft alles nix, einfach reinhören und herausfinden. David hat zumindest neue Zubehör News parat und Ben hat sich das heutige Meatpiece gesichert. Gute Folge mit viel Spaß und wir sind gespannt, welches neue Feedback wir von der Community erhalten. Mit leichter Verzögerung, stellen wir euch nun endlich die bereits 11. Folge des BBQ Catch-Up! online und zur Verfügung. Ein kleines kreatives Päuschen und gut Ding will ab und zu eben auch Weile haben. Hat sich aber auf jeden Fall wieder gelohnt wie wir finden ;)! Bei dieser Folge bewegen wir uns nämlich auf ganz dünnem Eis und wir haben versucht nicht einzubrechen. Wir geben unser Bestes wie immer! Es ist vollbracht! - Folge 10 ist abgequatscht, gemischt und im Kasten. Daher gibt es in der heutigen Folge einen Überblick, wie ihr eure Steaks zur Feier des Tages noch saftiger bekommt. Am Ende wird David auch noch um sein Meatpiece betrogen, aber er scheint happy damit zu sein! Hört unbedingt wieder rein und findet raus, warum Ben im Rückwärtsgang grillt und David sein Fleisch ins Wasser wirft! Wir wünschen euch nun viel Spaß beim zuhören der Jubiläumsfolge. Das Jahr ist in vollem Gange und die ersten BBQ-Sessions konnten bereits erfolgreich und vor allem LECKER abgegrillt werden. Aber wie bekomme ich das Meatpiece meiner Wahl überhaupt gar? Was muss ich tun um dem Grill so richtig einzuheizen und richtig zu organisieren? Heute gibt es mal einen ersten Überblick über die gängigsten Grillmethoden und wie man sich am Holzkohlegrill aber auch am Gasgrill ein wenig ausprobieren kann. Auch hat das Meatpiece der Woche wieder einen Platz gefunden! Dieses Mal mit nem leckeren Tipp von Ben. Für diejenigen die es vermisst haben, David spricht mal wieder über Heizkreise aber es sei ihm vergönnt! ;)))

Das BBQ & Podcast Jahr 2020 neigt sich nun so langsam dem Ende zu was aber nicht bedeutet, dass die Brenner an unseren Grills still stehen! Nicht nur die Holzkohle, sondern auch unsere Motivation glüht weiter und daher ziehen wir in der heutigen Folge einfach mal Bilanz. Wir schauen voller Stolz auf nun mehr 7 Folgen des BBQ Catch-Up! zurück. Auf Wunsch einiger treuer Zuhörer, fassen wir das Jahr 2020 mit unseren Top BBQ Highlights und den Top BBQ Flops zusammen. Soviel sei verraten, auch hier wird nicht immer alles "Medium" und schön "rosa" serviert. Das Projekt "BBQ Catch-Up!" wird auch in 2021 weitergeführt und wir geben bereits erste Ausblicke was noch so alles auf unserer to do Liste steht. Hört auf jeden Fall wieder rein und wir wünschen euch nicht nur viel Spaß mit dieser Jahresendfolge sondern auch ein Frohes Weihnachtsfest und einen guten Rutsch in die neue BBQ Season 2021! Pig pig hurray! In der heutigen Folgen gibt´s ne richtige Schweinerei. David und Ben gehen u.a. der Frage nach, warum einige Cuts vom Schwein immer noch so stiefmütterlich behandelt werden und warum einfach mehr Pork auf den Grill gehört. Darüber hinaus gibt es einen ersten Überblick welche leckeren Schweinerassen es unbedingt zu probieren lohnt und welche Teilstücke vom Piggy hier einfach ein MUSS für jeden BBQ Fan sind.

Das lange Warten hat ein Ende und auch in dieser Woche könnt ihr euch auf eine neue Folge des BBQ Catch-Up! freuen. In der bereits 5. Episode gibt es ordentlich "Beef" zwischen David und Ben. Nachdem nun hoffentlich alle BBQ-Gerätschaften sowie Zubehör angeschafft wurden, wird es nun Zeit den Grill anzuwerfen und endlich mal ein feines Stück Fleisch auf den Rost zu legen. Im heutigen Catch-Up! quatschen wir über gängige Rindfleischcuts, die unserer Meinung nach ideal für den BBQ Einstieg sind. Wo bekommt man diese Cuts eigentlich her und worauf sollte man beim Kauf achten. Auch gehen wir auf einzelne Herkunftsländer des Fleisches sowie die generelle Aufzucht ein und geben gerne wieder einige Tipps zur optimalen Zubereitung.
