As we come to the end of 2014 and look forward to the New Year ahead we can be...'confident of this very thing; that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ'

Mary couldn't see what the future held, and had no real idea what the Angel's visit would mean in the long term. However, looking back we can see God's plan unfolding in a wonderful and perfect way and we can be assured that God has a perfect plan for us and trust that everything that happens falls under his will.

Concentrate on the future, not the past. Don't let what has already happened pull you down. Reach into the future and believe that, in God, you have control over your destiny.

God has already given you the ability to accomplish much. You are equipped with gifts and skills you may not be using to their full potential. This message parallels our own journey with that of Moses as he was transformed from a self-exiled shepherd to the speaker/leader for an entire nation.

“…you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

This series is a journey into the book of Acts, the formation and growth of the church and how our mission intersects with the mission of the first believers.
