It feels SO good to be back!

When I announced that Season two would start in March 2021, I had not realised that this March marks one whole year of me 'living the single life'.

So I thought, what better way to launch season two than to give an honest insight into how I have navigated me way through being single for the first time in eleven years.

As 2020 draws to a close, so does the first season of 'Be Boujee Be True Be You'.
 Everyone has a different opinion on the truth and when the right time to speak the truth can be but what I have learnt over the years is that 99.9% of the time, at one point or another the truth has a way of coming out.

Annabel Szahara Rose is a Ho'oponopono Practitioner and Spiritual Adventurer.  She is passionate about self discovery and learning how to truly love ourselves just as we are.  Her battle cry against adversity is 'We are perfectly imperfect and so beautifully flawed'.

It was fascinating to sit down with Annabel and learn all about the Hawaiian practice of Ho'oponopono and how it can help improve the relationships in our lives.

Annabel was very vulnerable and opened up about her own experience of being stuck in a negative relationship cycle with an ex partner and how she learnt to break away from the dynamic.

After having such an inspiring conversation with Kat Callow in the previous episode of 'Be Boujee Be True Be You', I have been thinking a lot about how much we can still crave approval
from our parents, no matter how old we get.
I find it fascinating that we spend so much of our teenage life thinking how we can't wait to be a grown up and do what we like but when that time arrives, quite often we realise how much we still turn to those who raised us for guidance and support.

Kat and I have been friends for over fifteen years and our views on love and relationships have been very different.

I have always admired Kat for how independent she is and in this episode, she really opened up about how she handles comments and judgements from others and her own vulnerabilities.
