  • You’re Not My Only Girl

This episode was recorded on May 24, 2021.

Let’s get into it! The ladies jump into the state of the country with regards to COVID19 in the NY and NJ area. How long will these mandates last? Are you vaccinated? Do you plan to be vaccinated? After getting all of the country business out of the way, the ladies jump right into the hot topics…. NICK CANNON!!! Is he the classier version of future? We don’t know, but ummmmm, he damn sure has a lot of kids with multiple women! The convo doesn’t stop there though. As always, the hot topics lead the ladies (and their 7th member -DJ Bam) down a rabbit hole of topics that keep the show spicy. This weeks unsigned artist is ReddVelvitt with her summer anthem “Shake”.

  • …But Have You Ever Been a Side Chick Tho?

This episode was recorded on June 13, 2021

First and foremost, MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE VOTED in your states' Primary election! Get your asses out there AND VOTE! November 2021 is the most important month of this year for several states! Also, NJ residents, if you didn’t know, IT’S TIME TO GET BACK TO THE OFFICE -no more “required” working from home mandate beloveds. Every now and then, the ladies get deep…”Who was your first unarmed black man that you learned about?” The ladies unpack that subject – it was very heavy in the room for a minute. Conversations about Safaree and Erica Mena lead the ladies to discuss BEING A SIDE CHICK….have you ever been? Whew, the ladies unpack it all….. of course with their 7th member – DJ Bam, just to keep the “balance” in the room. This weeks unsigned artist is Brianna Knight with her single "So Deep".

  • Jenn, WE ARE GUESTS!

The ladies return after Mother’s Day and they’re ready to jump into it! First things first, they get into the title of the show! What’s the issue here?... is what the ladies want to know! “Come in peace or I might leave with the police” -as Re puts it! Kat then breaks down the new COBRA laws due to the COVID19 American Rescue Act while Re then breaks down what the monthly stimulus payments will look like starting in July 2021 for individuals with children. The topic of payments to individuals with children sparks an important conversation between the ladies regarding “single individuals without children” who may be struggling financially during COVID19 and those who are allowing “the system” to cripple them. As we head towards Juneteenth the ladies remind their listeners to USE THEIR PTO!!! Take off work and enjoy your life! As the show comes towards the end, the ladies discover that Jenn is a BRIDEZILLA!....Jenn, we just want the open bar!

  • WE OUTSIIIIIIIIDE!!!

The ladies return after taking a two-week break and open up with discussing the Derek Chauvin verdict and what it means for the black community. Jazz then discusses her trip to Turks & Caicos and gets into the details of her travel group. Is it a black funeral if it doesn’t get ghetto? Jenn speaks on what happened at DMX’s funeral with his childhood friend, Jungle. Please GIVE GEN Z AND GEN ALPHA something to do besides the internet……Tae reflects back to her childhood and how she would hate that her mom would VOLUNTARILY sign her up for summer school every year which causes Jenn to add that we need give the kids something to do! Keep the kids busy because “WE OUTSIIIIIIIIIIDE!!” The Ladies of BMP talk about what "being outside" means to them and how they had a great time at Angels of Harlem. • Take My Mic….

We’ve lost a legend this week and everyone is feeling it! The ladies open episode five with a prayer from DMX and express what role DMX played in their childhood. There was no way to discuss the legendary DMX without diving into his career and personal life experiences that made him into the inspirational anointed musician that he was ‘til this day. Drug addiction is always a heavy subject, but the ladies unpack it within their own families. However, was Cam’Ron out of pocket towards Derrick Jaxn? Are we policing condolences in 2021? After acknowledging their Easter break, Ra explained how she lost Levi in the bowling ally on Easter…..WOW! The ladies get into Black Rob’s call out for Diddy and NORE while he suffers from kidney failure (this episode was recorded prior to the passing of Black Rob)….the room was heavy for a bit on this one. However, the load lightened up once the ladies started to realize that as millennials they’re getting “up there” in age. Tae calls it “experienced” rather than getting old. Later in the episode the ladies get into whether it’s okay to go through your significant others phone or any device for that matter? Is it insecurity, disrespect….. did someone say BOUNDARIES??? Speaking of boundaries, how do you handle your best friend and your boyfriend having a beef -like Caresha (Yung Miami) and Uzi? The ladies agree that drawing the line is necessary….
