  • Seeking Sunshine in Hell Year with Rach Wilson
Join Karaleigh in an interview with Rach Wilson, a relationship coach for couples with special needs children. She shares her story of going through Hell Year, where her son didn’t sleep and she was in a level of burnout most can’t even imagine. Favorite takeaways: 1. All the way through Hell year, as hard as it was, in the back of my mind I’ve always had the belief that this is happening for a reason. I may not know what it is right now, but somehow I’ll use this information, somehow this will be something that I can give back to someone some way. 2. We tend to take other people’s behavior so personally and most of the time it has nothing to do with us. It’s their own problems and their own issues, and so when we look at them with compassion instead of anger, we have a better ability to understand and forgive and remain in our own calm place instead of rising to their anger. 3. Hope will get you through things you never thought possible. 4. God intervened. 5. One person listening can make all the difference. 6. Moms know. 7. I wouldn’t change the hard times. I wouldn’t make them any different. 8. There were moments of sunshine that got me through. 9. After Hell Year, there’s a lot we don’t take for granted anymore. • Chaotic Christmas with a Heartbeat of Peace
It’s almost Christmas! Today’s episode is a special solo episode where Karaleigh talks about where she’s at and uses her life to teach valuable lessons. Favorite takeaways: 1. I love seeing the sunshine in the sadness. 2. What does the snow tell you? It tells me to slow down. 3. The lesson for me this season is to slow down. 4. It’s time to slow down and just trust. 5. Give people what they need instead of what you need to give. 6. God knows better than we do, and if we can just kind of follow those little things he tells us to do, who knows what good that’s gonna lead to. 7. I don’t think people are looking for “best,” I think people are looking for real. 8. It’s gonna be ok, but what does ok even mean? It means that God loves you. It means that He has a plan for your life. 9. Stop. Take a deep breath. And feel a heartbeat of peace. 10. Your efforts are not going unnoticed and they are not wasted. • Turning Pain Into Positivity with C.A. Kanooble

Clearly I was meant for something more. 4. Learning who we are is sunshine. Learning how to process our emotions, learning how to become better humans- that is sunshine. As hard of a process as it is, there is beauty in that. 5. We’re all just feeling like failures when we’re all just humans having a human experience that includes fails and wins. But instead we’re only looking at the fails when we need to look at the wins too. 6. Look for the little victories. 7. If you don’t believe that you are the best, and that you are worth something, nobody else is either. 8. It’s not fake it until you make it, it’s believe it until it’s true. 9. You’ve got this. You’ve been through way more than this. You can. 6. There is so much power in the realization that you can help people. 7. When we think about self care and working on ourselves and shifting our mindset and all this personal growth, yes, it is for you, but it’s almost more for everyone around you who you are going to influence by raising your vibe. 8. You’re here today because you pushed through. 9. If more of us could listen to our heart and do what makes us happy- truly- that then spreads out and radiates to other people. 10. What a beautiful example to all those around us, as we follow that light that we were given. Each of us was given passions and talents and when we sacrifice all of ourselves- as mothers especially- to give everything to our kids, we are sacrificing that sense of self that we could be teaching them. Favorite takeaways: 1. Connecting to people is such a ray of sunshine that we really really need. 2. I think that’s the really beautiful thing about motherhood is it teaches you to slow down. 3. I think once you accept and realize that you cannot please the masses and that it’s none of their business anyway- it just makes it a lot easier to deal with life. 4. We spend so much time planning the wedding, planning for the nursery, but how much time do most of spend working on our health and overall well-being to conceive? 5. When we are stressed out all the time we are teaching our kids that that’s what you’re supposed to be and that’s what makes you a good person because you are the person they look up to the most, and so they are learning from your example, and if you’re example is my worth comes from being busy all the time, that’s what they are learning, that’s what you are teaching them. And then as they grow into adulthood, that’s what they are gonna take with them. 6. We have options as women, and it’s our duty to inform ourselves of those options. 7. I’m very very passionate about having women feel strong and confident in their voice, but I think first you need to have that background knowledge and education so that you can feel confident. 8. Taking a stance really helps build confidence and empowerment. 9. Energetic balance: making sure you’re not in that fight or flight, making sure that your nervous system is calm, and trying to reduce stress as much as you can and not come from a place of fear and control but coming from a place of trust, surrender, and flow. 10. Whatever life throws at you is meant for you and is there for a reason. Our initial reaction is to fight it, but we need to just embrace it and learn from it and be grateful for what we have. Theatre: No matter how you sound, no matter how you move, you belong. 2. Take a deep breath. Who knows what miracles lie on the other side. 3. Life is a marathon, but so many of us are sprinting. 4. You’re fine. And what you’re doing is great. And you’re enough. You have gifts and things people haven’t seen yet and you just need to keep proving those haters wrong and just keep showing who you are. 5. Keep doing all the good things and you’ll get there. 6. It feels illogical to continue to hope for all the things that are in your heart, and yet that’s what we are expected to do. And on the other side of that is so much beauty and joy- when you just turn it all over to God. 7. There is so much power in letting go and not holding on so tightly and not only trusting God, but trusting yourself. There is power inside of you. 8. Most people would be blown away by how powerful we are. We are powerful beyond belief- the problem is we don’t believe it. 9. There’s beauty in everything. Just find it. She is passionate about health, whole body wellness, and how to be good at relationships. Takeaways: 1. Indecision is a decision- the hardest no is always the closest one to a yes. 2. Moving and taking up space helped me to reclaim my power. I started becoming confident. 3. The opposite of anxiety is confidence. 4. We are divine beings who are inherently powerful. 5. It’s so easy to label our emotions, right? We label them good or bad or right or wrong, but how much shame and guilt and suffering does that bring us? And it doesn’t need to. So I like to teach my students to view their emotions through the lens of neutrality- with acceptance, with gratitude, not judging them, not labeling them, just allowing them to be, because they’re all messengers- they all have such wisdom to bring. 6. We don’t have to wait until we are broken- self improvement should be something that we are always, constantly prioritizing in our lives. 7. We can literally change the entire trajectory of humanity just by healing ourselves. 8. People need hope.
