  • “Don’t judge me!” s28e61 Jn8:12

Some have made Jesus' line, "I judge no one" their life-verse.  He doesn't need to judge anyone. They've been judged starting in the Garden of Eden.
It doesn’t mean that you haven’t been judged in the past

If doesn’t mean that you stand currently in judgement

It doesn’t mean that you won’t finally stand in judgment
What it does mean is that you don't need judgment, You've already got it. What it does mean is that you need a Savior, a rescuer.

  • Living an “Adultery-free” life s28e60 Jn8:11

When tasked with stoning someone else caught in adultery, all walk away under personal conviction before throwing a rock.  They themselves get "Struck by the stone of Adultery". But, then what happens? If God said to you: Go and sin no more, what would have to change?

    I
f you use Jesus' criteria of zipper and mind, Those in the story are struck that, "This is not my first adulterous day". Then, they could agree and endeavor to make it their LAST ADULTEROUS DAY. Listen and see if you could be one of them.

  • Being struck by the stone of Adultery s28e59 Jn8:3

Rather than "throw stones" at Adultery, it might be better to be STRUCK by the stone of adultery.  That is,  let's think about it, and let the thinking affect us. the Bible has quite a bit to say about the sexual relationships of humans.  Join me to explore them all in just 7 minutes. Just kidding. At least we'll talk about adultery.

Thanks for being here.  Come back tomorrow.

  • Sometimes the flower of faith takes YEARS to blossom s28e58 Jn7:40

How long does faith take?  Sometimes it takes a very long time to blossom.  We've got about a three year window on an important guy named Nicodemus.  If you have taken a while to bravely grab onto your faith, you'll like him.

We're sequentially experiencing the Book of John and meeting these characters as they meet Jesus.  Sometimes the story is sweet, even if it takes a while.  Come back tomorrow if you can.

  • Hello, Nice to meet You, Mr. Holy Spirit s28e57 Jn7:32

Jesus eventually leaves His believers alone on the planet, but not for long. He makes an ultimate provision for them by giving His Holy Spirit.  Today is the first major introduction to that Spirit. I suppose Jesus gives a bit of a heads-up so it is not too much of a surprise when it actually happens.

"Hi, nice to meet you, Mr. Holy Spirit."

  • 3 rules of real estate: Location Location Location s28e56 Jn7:25

The 3 most important things in real estate are location, location, location.

If we know the location of something, it helps us to know its VALUE. People want to know where Jesus is FROM, as this helps us determine His value. Of course, He will blow their minds by answering not only "WHERE am I from?" but also "WHO am I from?"

Spend 7 minutes to find Jesus' location, location, location to determine His value, value, value.

  • Who should we be judging? s28e55 Jn7:16

It is fun to judge. It is fun to judge anybody but myself. It is fun to judge anything but the claims of Jesus which all happen to be TRUE. In their exposure to Jesus, He asks for a TRUE judgment; and accurate judgment. Who is God? Who am I? How do I measure up?
Some of the accurate judgments result in a bit of grief, but that is par for the course. Join me in judgment today and tomorrow by subscribing:

  • Why does the world HATE JESUS? s28e54 Jn7:1

What starts out as a family squabble about who is going to thanksgiving dinner turns into an observation about EVIL.  Specifically, the reason the world doesn't  hate Jesus' brothers, is because they ARE  the world. If you are the world, to know Jesus is to hate Him, for Jesus calls out its EVIL.  The world responds in hate.

In the context of the passage, being hated, especially as one stands against evil, is a good thing. May it be so for all of us.

    Subscribe to stand against evil.

  • How do you have a ‘happy new year?’ s28e53 Jn6:66

How exactly does one have a "happy new year?" Many of the circumstances of the year will be thrust upon us. However, how we respond to the circumstances is vastly in our control.  We are to build spiritual resiliency.

Whether you have a 'happy new year' will greatly depend upon how we build this resiliency.

  • REFUSING to be snatched s28e52 Jn6:60

Authentic believers enjoy the reality of UNSNATCHABILITY with the hand of God. Authentic believers also practice unsnatchability.

They hang in there spiritually.  They don't turn their back on the Lord. They continue to walk with Him.  In short: they show up. Like Peter said, "Where else are we going to go?"

Subscribe so you too can practice unsnatchability tomorrow and the next, with the Lords help.
