In this episode, Season 2 -Episode #13, of the "Beacons of the Gospel" Podcast, we will be closing out Season #2 and our exhaustive examination of "The Great Commission," or as I have renamed it, "Mission Impossible." This Episode is titled "We Are Not Alone," and we will be looking at the words of Jesus, presented in verse 20, of the Matthew chapter 28 presentation of "The Great Commission." We will attempt to understand the full implication of Jesus' words, "And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
In this episode of the "Beacons of the Gospel" Podcast, we will look at the second half of the disciple-making process, presented in the Great Commission passage from Matthew chapter 28 verses 16 to 20. This is the "Sanctification" or maturing phase of being a disciple. We will examine the very precise wording in verse 20 of the passage. We will then take notice of the kind of leaders Jesus is commissioning. Then we will take a close look at the important difference between "Teaching" and "Training." We will conclude the episode by comparing the difference between spiritual "Isolation" and spiritual "Insolation" in living as disciples of Jesus.
In this episode of the "Beacons of the Gospel" podcast, we will be examining what it means to act in, speak in, or in any other way, represent “The Name of the Lord.” We will be showing that this is a very serious thing to do, and that it, likewise, has very serious consequences if done in error. We will then apply this responsibility to “The Great Commission,” because Jesus commands us to “make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” So, it must be understood that, in that passage, “in the name of” means “baptizing” people consistently with all that is in accord with the will and the word of “The Trinitarian Godhead” We will also be looking at the "Calling on the Name of the Lord" and "The Sinners Prayer" responses to "The Gospel," which are falsely being taught in so many modern-day churches.
In this episode of the "Becons of the Gospel" podcast, we will finish up our examination of "Infant Baptism," and then look at the concept of Biblical "Saving Faith." We will also take a serious look at the concept of "Sola Fide," which came out of the Reformation, and see if it matches up with what the New Testament teaches. We will then look at a few relevant Biblical passages that will help us gain some objectivity on what constitutes a "Work of the Flesh," as opposed to what is just simple obedience to the instructions of God.
In this episode of the "Beacons of the Gospel" Podcast, we will be continuing our in-depth study of the subject of "Baptism." We will be looking at the subject of "Infant Baptism." We will discuss the origins of "Infant Baptism" and its practice within the Roman Catholic Church after Constantine sanctioned Christianity as the State religion of the Roman Empire. We will then examine the Protestant Reformation and its impact on Christian Theology.

We will begin by looking at the very controversial passage, from 1 Peter chapter 3 verses 18 to 22, and breaking down what Peter means in his comparison of Noah's Flood to "Baptism." We will then do a quick comparison of how differently we treat "Baptism" and "Marraige," in "The Church." Then we will close by spending most of our time reading the writings, concerning "Baptism," of those whom most people refer to as "The Church Fathers."
In this episode of the "Beacons of the Gospel" Podcast, we will continue our in-depth examination of "Baptism."
