This week I am joined by Derryk Esquivel, also known as DerrykwithaY, to talk about his introduction to heavy music, how he started creating content themed around the community, his favorite coffee, and how he deals with elitist comments. 

During the episode Derryk was drinking a generic decaf blend and I enjoyed a cup of Sayiki from Cafe Le Club. The Sayiki roast is a washed Ethiopian single-origin with lots of delicious floral notes.

This week I'm joined by Mike Thorwart, co-founder of Dead Sled Coffee. We talk about the origins of Dead Sled, coffee collaborations, Pennsylvania hardcore, and even Lady Gaga.

During the episode Mike was drinking the El Diablo blend by Dead Sled while I enjoyed their Vampira roast. The Vampira is a single-origin coffee from Oaxaca, Mexico, and is a medium-dark roast profile with lots of dark chocolate and earthy notes with some hints of stone fruit.
